Your kitchen will simply perform better with specific accessories for tray storage, pantry goods, cleaning supplies, kitchen towels, trash and recycling bins.
“Loft” Living originated in Paris when artists established studios in abandoned warehouses to accommodate the oversized paintings popular at the time. Modern loft environments idealize the characteristics of their early counterparts with high ceilings, exposed beams, open spaces, and vintage flooring or brickwork. Bulles & Taille-crayonLe salon autrefois séparé de la cuisine a laissé place à une pièce unique. L'ouverture du mur porteur a pris la forme d'une arche pour faire écho a celle présente dans l'entrée. Les courbes se sont invitées dans le dessin de la verrière et le choix du papier peint. Le coin repas s'est immiscé entre la cuisine et le salon. L'ensemble a été conçu sur mesure pour notre studio.
Ameo ConceptFaire l’acquisition de surfaces sous les toits nécessite parfois une faculté de projection importante, ce qui fut le cas pour nos clients du projet Timbaud.
Initialement configuré en deux « chambres de bonnes », la réunion de ces deux dernières et l’ouverture des volumes a permis de transformer l’ensemble en un appartement deux pièces très fonctionnel et lumineux.
Avec presque 41m2 au sol (29m2 carrez), les rangements ont été maximisés dans tous les espaces avec notamment un grand dressing dans la chambre, la cuisine ouverte sur le salon séjour, et la salle d’eau séparée des sanitaires, le tout baigné de lumière naturelle avec une vue dégagée sur les toits de Paris.
Tout en prenant en considération les problématiques liées au diagnostic énergétique initialement très faible, cette rénovation allie esthétisme, optimisation et performances actuelles dans un soucis du détail pour cet appartement destiné à la location.

Studio M Kitchen & BathIt was important for these clients to have a design that included ample storage but not one that would be weighed down by too many upper cabinets. A cabinet with textured wire mesh doors and an additional open shelf provide visual interest between the upper cabinets.
Design Me By MahlahThis property is located in the beautiful California redwoods and yet just a few miles from the beach. We wanted to create a beachy feel for this kitchen, but also a natural woodsy vibe. Mixing materials did the trick. Walnut lower cabinets were balanced with pale blue/gray uppers. The glass and stone backsplash creates movement and fun. The counters are the show stopper in a quartzite with a "wave" design throughout in all of the colors with a bit of sparkle. We love the faux slate floor in varying sized tiles, which is very "sand and beach" friendly. We went with black stainless appliances and matte black cabinet hardware.
The entry to the house is in this kitchen and opens to a closet. We replaced the old bifold doors with beautiful solid wood bypass barn doors. Inside one half became a cute coat closet and the other side storage.
The old design had the cabinets not reaching the ceiling and the space chopped in half by a peninsula. We opened the room up and took the cabinets to the ceiling. Integrating floating shelves in two parts of the room and glass upper keeps the space from feeling closed in.
The round table breaks up the rectangular shape of the room allowing more flow. The whicker chairs and drift wood table top add to the beachy vibe. The accessories bring it all together with shades of blues and cream.
This kitchen now feels bigger, has excellent storage and function, and matches the style of the home and its owners. We like to call this style "Beachy Boho".

This home is the perfect escape, with all you need to easily deal with the clean from a long day on the slopes or the lake, and then its time to relax!
The Design GalleryThis view shows the play of the different wood tones throughout the space. The different woods keep the eye moving and draw you into the inviting space. We love the classic Cherner counter stools. The nostalgic pendants create some fun and add sculptural interest. All track lighting was replaced and expanded by cutting through beams to create good task lighting for all kitchen surfaces.
Lenox House DesignThis lower level bar was a special surprise from wife to husband - the custom Criss Craft boat island was kept under wraps until unveiled in a special moment. The floor is a wide plank floor that mimics wood but with fun blue and grey color tones. The backsplash tile is an oversides arabesque mosaic in a blue that miimics the lake water. The bar is truly a kitchenette for entertaining on the lake level, complete with full fridge, range, dishwasher and built in bar on that far left cabinet. The counterstools were custom made for the project by a local craftsman.
