This was a major remodel to an existing 1970 building. It was approximately 2300 sq. ft. but it was dated in style and function. The access was by a wood stair up to the street, with no garage and tight small rooms. The remodel and addition created a two car garage with storage and a dramatic entry with grand stair descending down to the existing living room area. Spaces where moved and changed to create a open plan living environment with a new kitchen, master suite, guest suite, and remodeling and adding to the lower level bedrooms with new baths on suite. The mechanical system was replaced and air conditioning was added as well as air treatment.

Adjacent to the kitchen, we see the same gorgeous Copenhagen granite countertops and contrasting Diamante Midtown Brown glass mosaic tile backsplash. Two wine coolers and glass front lighted cabinets for the wine glasses make this a very special room. Love the light fixture and easy access to the porch...all for better entertaining.

The kitchen had a complete remodel with new cabinets, glass, sinks, faucets, custom blue color to match our clients favorite colors of the sea, and so much more. We custom made the design on the cabinets and wrapped the island and gave it a pop of color. The dining room had a custom large buffet with teak tile laced into the current hardwood floor. Every room was remodeled and the clients even have custom GR Studio furniture, (the Dorian Swivel Chair and the Warren 3 Piece Sofa). These pieces were brand new introduced in 2019 and this home on the beach was the first to have them. It was a pleasure designing this home with this family from custom window treatments, furniture, flooring, gym, kids play room, and even the outside where we introduced our new custom GR Studio outdoor coverings.
