Beth Whitlinger Interior DesignThe homeowner of this ranch style home in Orange Park Acres wanted the Kitchen Breakfast Nook to become a large informal Dining Room that was an extension of the new Great Room. A new painted limestone effect on the used brick fireplace sets the tone for a lighter, more open and airy space. Using a bench for part of the seating helps to eliminate crowding and give a place for the grandkids to sit that can handle sticky hands. Custom designed dining chairs in a heavy duty velvet add to the luxurious feeling of the room and can be used in the adjacent Great Room for additional seating. A heavy dark iron chandelier was replaced with the lovely fixture that was hanging in another room; it's pale tones perfect for the new scheme. The window seat cushions were updated in a serviceable ostrich print taupe vinyl enhanced by rich cut velvet brocade and metallic woven pillows, making it a perfect place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Sustainable HomeThis clean lined kitchen, designed for a young family that loves books, features healthy low VOC cabinets and paint. The custom table for the dining nook was made from a scrap of the countetop granite.

UserWhat once was a 1980's time capsule, is now beautiful lakefront living with a glam vibe. A complete renovation including the kitchen, all three bathrooms and adding a custom bar room. However, we didn't stop there! Custom designed interiors throughout the entire home, makes this residence a comfortable and chic place to live.
Finding inspiration from their lake view, we incorporated that element throughout the home. A tasteful white and blue palette mixed with metals and lovely textures. Bold geometrics paired subtle feminine curves, all while keeping durability and everyday living in mind.

Nest Designs LLCEco-Rehabarama house. This dining space is adjacent to the kitchen and the living area in a very open floor-plan. We converted the garage into a kitchen and updated the entire house. The red barn door is made from recycled materials. The hardware for the door was salvaged from an old barn door. We used wood from the demolition to make the barn door. This image shows the entire barn door with the kitchen table. The door divides the laundry and utility room from the dining space. It's a practical solution to separate the two spaces while adding an interesting focal point to the room. Love the pop of red against the neutral walls. The door is painted with Sherwin Williams Red Obsession SW7590 and the walls are Sherwin Williams Warm Stone SW 7032.
LEIVARSThis young and vibrant family wanted an open plan space where they could cook, see their children play and interact whilst they were in the kitchen, a social space to cook for friends / family and be part of the conversation at the same time. We designed the perfect over sized banquette seating to maximise the number of guests in addition to conventional dining chairs, the perfect balance in every way. Adding mirrors helped soften the open plan feel allowing softness and movement throughout the day and evening.
Homes by DesignThis amazing Kitchen combines traditional marble counter tops and white cabinets with brass fixtures and pulls. Multiple islands generate ample room for prep and gathering. This large space also features a din-in eating area with hanging light and located next to a large wall of windows.
