George Sfinas from Standards Australia is due to speak on The Future of Technology in Construction where he will take attendees through what he thinks will be the significant ways technology will influence the industry.
Prior to the event he nominated two tech-rich processes as game changers.
“Building Information Modelling [a complex procedure that includes interaction with information from different construction stages along with cooperation and general management of a project] and digital engineering,” he says.
“I also think prefabricated construction is an innovation that will change traditional building.”
