McDaniels Kitchen and BathThis craftsman style kitchen design is the perfect combination of form and function. With a custom designed hutch and eat-in kitchen island featuring a CraftArt wood tabletop, the kitchen is the perfect place for family and friends to gather. The wood tone of the Medallion cabinetry contrasts beautifully with the dark Cambria quartz countertop and slate backsplash, but it is the excellent storage accessories inside these cabinets that really set this design apart. From tray dividers to magic corner pull-outs, this kitchen keeps clutter at bay and lets the design shine through.
Hive DwellingThis is a project where the softness of white Ikea kitchen cabinet doors, in combination with the height of the space, worked beautifully. The increased storage offered by two stacked rows of top cabinets created ample storage and palatial looks. Knowing the difference in shade between Grimslov and Axtad style Ikea kitchen doors, we decided the house style would blend perfectly by choosing a crisp white door like Axtad. The backsplash tile has a slight iridescent pearl hue, soaking the space in subtle iridescent light. We personalized the kitchen with brass handles. The choice of white, modern appliances with copper handles is daring, and we think it looks charming. The build-in double door oven, fridge, dishwasher, and range are GE Cafe.

Home Restoration Services, Inc.This couple wanted to retain the character of their existing Craftsman kitchen, while joining their kitchen and dining room by removing a non-load-bearing wall. The bead board ceiling was retained and minimal changes were made to the existing footprint. Lost cabinetry was replaced through careful design and coordination with cabinet maker Gary Frederickson. Heather DeMoras Design ConsultantsLocated in historic East Aurora, this stunning 7,500 SF residence was designed to be reflective of the timeless aesthetic of the Arts and Crafts Movement. The owners sought the talents of Heather DeMoras Design Consultants to coordinate all aspects of the interior. The result is a celebration of the Arts and Crafts style with a spirited modern twist.

The three stars of the kitchen are the immaculately restored 1928 high-oven WEDGWOOD stove, the SubZero refrigerator/freezer disguised to look like a vintage ice-box, complete with vintage hardware, and the kitchen island, designed to reference a farm-house table with a pie-save underneath, done in ebonized oak and painted bead-board.
The floor is lip-stick red Marmoleum with double inlaid black borders, the counters are honed black granite, and the cabinets, walls, and trim are painted a soft cream-color taken from a 1926 Dutch Boy paint deck.

Southern Oaks FlooringWe installed this white handmade Picket tile from Fireclay Tile from the counter to the ceiling as a backsplash in the 12 South Neighborhood of Nashville, TN. We also sanded the red oak floors and refinished them with Rubio Monocoat, an eco-friendly matte finish in a medium brown tone.
