Joni Spear Interior DesignFloors feature Hampton Carrera marble placed in a diagonal fashion. Walls are flanked in the same sumptuous product in a brick pattern to juxtapose the composition. The original shower was enlarged and showcases a picture framed insert of a smaller scale arabesque mosaic. No detail was left untouched; elegant skirting-board on the floor and crown molding add to the elevated ambience. Custom fixtures in a two-toned finish of polished nickel and brass herald the triumph. No ordinary sink would suffice; precious-metal-jeweler custom drop-in sinks in polished stainless were sourced.
Medicine cabinets were fitted with a decorative gold frame for an added extravagance while crystal sconces light the way. Rare, Verde Empress green marble tops the vanity and tub surround to complete the highly refined, yet welcoming space.
Before and After Builders, Inc.I refer to this as an In-Line tub/shower combination, where the deck of the tub is a seat in the shower. 60" x 42" x 21" soaking tub, deck mounted Delta faucet with hand-held, custom tub skirt, porcelain tile on the tub deck, floor, and walls of the shower, and decorative glass tile band. Frame-less glass shower door and panels. LED recess lights and LED light/fan above the shower. Sherwin-Williams paint products, new door hinges & knobs.

This lovely shared bath required a unique design solution. The goal was to improve the layout while re purposing the existing cabinets and shower doors while not moving the major fixtures. Introducing a raised corner section added interest and display space while separating the vanities. By relocating the dressing table we were able to provide 2 separate vanity areas. Pearl-like beads on the drawer and door fronts provided the inspiration for the penny glass floor tile detail. A Moravian Star pendant added whimsy while sconces provided additional lighting.
Denise Quade DesignThe two sided fireplace is above the bathtub in the bathroom and at the foot of the bed in the bedroom. The wall is tiled on both sides and the archway into the bathroom is tiled also. A traditional looking faucet with a hand sprayer was added. The drop in tub is classic white and the tub deck is tiled.
