TEROTTI Interior Design StudioThe Tranquility Residence is a mid-century modern home perched amongst the trees in the hills of Suffern, New York. After the homeowners purchased the home in the Spring of 2021, they engaged TEROTTI to reimagine the primary and tertiary bathrooms. The peaceful and subtle material textures of the primary bathroom are rich with depth and balance, providing a calming and tranquil space for daily routines. The terra cotta floor tile in the tertiary bathroom is a nod to the history of the home while the shower walls provide a refined yet playful texture to the room.
ULAH Interiors + DesignWe took a tiny outdated bathroom and doubled the width of it by taking the unused dormers on both sides that were just dead space. We completely updated it with contrasting herringbone tile and gave it a modern masculine and timeless vibe. This bathroom features a custom solid walnut cabinet designed by Buck Wimberly.
Searl Lamaster Howe ArchitectsThe soaking tub was positioned to capture views of the tree canopy beyond. The vanity mirror floats in the space, exposing glimpses of the shower behind.
Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsWe took a dated bathroom that you had to walk through the shower to get to the outdoors, covered in cream polished marble and gave it a completely new look. The function of this bathroom is outstanding from the large shower with dual heads to the extensive vanity with a sitting area for the misses to put on her makeup. We even hid a hamper in the pullout linen tower. Easy maintenance with porcelian tiles in the shower and a beautiful tile accent featured at the tub.
McGuire + Co. Kitchen & BathBlack and white art deco bathroom with black and white deco floor tiles, black hexagon tiles, classic white subway tiles, black vanity with gold hardware, Quartz countertop, and matte black fixtures.
LSDesignThis ensuite girl’s bathroom doubles as a family room guest bath. Our focus was to create an environment that was somewhat feminine but yet very neutral. The unlacquered brass finishes combined with lava rock flooring and neutral color palette creates a durable yet elegant atmosphere to this compromise.
daniStudioThe black and white palette is paired with the warmth of the wood tones to create a “spa-like” feeling in this urban design concept.

TVL Creative Ltd.This project was not only full of many bathrooms but also many different aesthetics. The goals were fourfold, create a new master suite, update the basement bath, add a new powder bath and my favorite, make them all completely different aesthetics.
Primary Bath-This was originally a small 60SF full bath sandwiched in between closets and walls of built-in cabinetry that blossomed into a 130SF, five-piece primary suite. This room was to be focused on a transitional aesthetic that would be adorned with Calcutta gold marble, gold fixtures and matte black geometric tile arrangements.
Powder Bath-A new addition to the home leans more on the traditional side of the transitional movement using moody blues and greens accented with brass. A fun play was the asymmetry of the 3-light sconce brings the aesthetic more to the modern side of transitional. My favorite element in the space, however, is the green, pink black and white deco tile on the floor whose colors are reflected in the details of the Australian wallpaper.
Hall Bath-Looking to touch on the home's 70's roots, we went for a mid-mod fresh update. Black Calcutta floors, linear-stacked porcelain tile, mixed woods and strong black and white accents. The green tile may be the star but the matte white ribbed tiles in the shower and behind the vanity are the true unsung heroes.
Jennifer A. Emmer/Feng Shui StyleWe Feng Shui'ed and designed this suite for 2 lucky girls in Winchester, MA. Although the home is a classic 1930s Colonial, we did the girls' space in a fresh, modern, dramatic way. They love it!

May Construction, Inc.The Hall bath is the next beautiful stop, a custom-made vanity, finished in Cedar Path, accented with champagne bronze fixtures. This bathroom is an awe-inspiring green oasis, with stunning gold embedded medicine cabinets, and Glazed Porcelain tile in Dark Gray Hexagon to finish off on the floor.
