Melton Design BuildIn the master bathroom remodel, a spare bedroom was utilized to expand the bathroom footprint to include a full walk-in closet as well as a luxurious shower and commode. The blue tiles work so nicely with the newly designed kitchen remodel, making this 1950’s ranch into a contemporary and welcoming home for a social family.
Let's RemodelIn this bathroom, the client wanted the contrast of the white subway tile and the black hexagon tile. We tiled up the walls and ceiling to create a wet room feeling.
KCreative InteriorsThey say the magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave and even better to come back and that is exactly what this family wanted to create when they purchased their Bondi home and prepared to renovate. Like Marilyn Monroe, this 1920’s Californian-style bungalow was born with the bone structure to be a great beauty. From the outset, it was important the design reflect their personal journey as individuals along with celebrating their journey as a family. Using a limited colour palette of white walls and black floors, a minimalist canvas was created to tell their story. Sentimental accents captured from holiday photographs, cherished books, artwork and various pieces collected over the years from their travels added the layers and dimension to the home. Architrave sides in the hallway and cutout reveals were painted in high-gloss black adding contrast and depth to the space. Bathroom renovations followed the black a white theme incorporating black marble with white vein accents and exotic greenery was used throughout the home – both inside and out, adding a lushness reminiscent of time spent in the tropics. Robert Rhodes Architecture + InteriorsBedwardine Road is our epic renovation and extension of a vast Victorian villa in Crystal Palace, south-east London.
Traditional architectural details such as flat brick arches and a denticulated brickwork entablature on the rear elevation counterbalance a kitchen that feels like a New York loft, complete with a polished concrete floor, underfloor heating and floor to ceiling Crittall windows.
Interiors details include as a hidden “jib” door that provides access to a dressing room and theatre lights in the master bathroom.
Habitat Resin & ConcreteThis composition captures a corner of tranquility where the sleek functionality of modern bathroom fittings blends with the reflective elegance of a well-appointed space. The white porcelain wall-mounted toilet stands as a testament to clean design, its crisp lines echoed by the minimalist flush plate above. To the right, the eye is drawn to the rich contrast of a black towel rail, a reflection mirrored in the mirror wardrobe doors, doubling its visual impact and enhancing the room's sense of space. The subtle interplay of light across the microcement walls and floor adds depth and sophistication, while the strategic lighting accentuates the smooth contours and gentle shadows, creating an atmosphere of calm sophistication.
