We used Wood-Mode Cabinetry with a custom brushed “warm concrete” finish. The countertops are Sea Pearl quartzite and Haze CaeserStone. The floors are a French white oak custom tinted to just the right shade of gray.

Eden Mosaic TileStainless Steel & Glass Kitchen backsplash: Eden Mosaic Tile Modern Random Mix Steel - Glass II - EMT_118S-MIX-SM. This ultra modern interlocking tile is comprised of various sizes of silver and light black stainless steel and white glass pieces. There are two types of brush patterns on the stainless steel, the first being a straight snow matte linear brush pattern, and the second being a circular brushed pattern. The different steel brush patterns appear to give the stainless steel a different color because of the way the light reflects off the tile, when in fact both are a regular stainless steel color. The result is a visually stunning array of colors and textures which will surely make your wall pop. Use this steel and glass mixed mosaic on kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, fireplaces and even accent walls. The tiles in this sheet are mounted on a nylon mesh which allows for an easy installation.

Studio Em InteriorsThe showpiece of this kitchen was the custom designed rusted steel backsplash. Together with the clients we rusted the steel ourselves to created the gorgeous patina you see. Once the steel was rusted our contractor sealed and installed the backsplash.

Dan Kitchens AustraliaIndustrial meets eclectic in this kitchen, pantry and laundry renovation by Dan Kitchens Australia. Many of the industrial features were made and installed by Craig's Workshop, including the reclaimed timber barbacking, the full-height pressed metal splashback and the rustic bar stools.

Hutchinson Furniture and InteriorsThe large central island is the main focal point in the room. Our client wanted strong lines throughout which we achieved by sandwiching two pieces of the birch ply together with a piece of American Black Walnut in the middle. The drawers have ‘tip-on’ runners which are push to open but also close with a soft close eliminating the need for handles. On the island, we made a feature of the solid oak drawers by exposing the dovetail joint on the face. The whole island is held up by a central plinth which cannot be seen from most angles of the room. An LED light strip creates the illusion that the Island is floating.
Normandy RemodelingIn this white kitchen created by Normandy Designer Ann Stockard, the metallic square tiles above the cooktop have dimension and add contrast to the small mosaic tile.
