Vicki Simon Interior DesignA custom bookcase for cookbook collection was built from recycled wood. Maker was found at a local home show in Portland. All furniture pieces were made or found and selected/designed maximizing height to accentuate tall ceilings. The vestibule in the background shows tiny space added by new nib walls as entry way to existing bathroom. JENDRETZKI LLCThis West Village is the combination of 2 apartments into a larger one, which takes advantage of the stunning double height spaces, extremely unusual in NYC. While keeping the pre-war flair the residence maintains a minimal and contemporary design.
SV DesignHaving been neglected for nearly 50 years, this home was rescued by new owners who sought to restore the home to its original grandeur. Prominently located on the rocky shoreline, its presence welcomes all who enter into Marblehead from the Boston area. The exterior respects tradition; the interior combines tradition with a sparse respect for proportion, scale and unadorned beauty of space and light.

Clawson Architects, LLCThe new eat-in Kitchen area offers a cozy setting in front of the fire. One can transition through a wet bar area to the Library and Study or Family Room. The new Kitchen work area was created with a small five foot addition to allow more natural light into the room, provide greater visual access to the patio and play yards on the left, and the arrival of visitors via the Mud Room entry on the right. New red oak hardwood floors with custom stain color were installed throughout the house as well as custom moldings, wainscoting, fireplace mantels, built-in book cases, and window seats.
