Cabinets were refinished to compliment the owner’s French-style furniture in a manner that gives them layers and depth of color. The countertops are an unusual fusion type of granite with blues and greens not commonly found in granite. The movement of the pattern is striking. Pendant lights were added over the island, and the sink was updated to a farmhouse fireclay sink. Except for the granite, sink, and pendant lights, all existing elements of the kitchen were retained and refinished to achieve this stunning, updated look.

This Atlantic sea view kitchen was designed for a great lady that enjoy a lot; to cook and entertain her husband, daughters, relatives and friends. The wonderful landscape of the sea was the inspiration.

What is there even to say about this beautiful navy 50's inspired kitchen. By taking out the wall between the kitchen and living-room, we were able to create this amazing open concept on this bungalows main floor. Navy shaker tongue and grove style base cabinets paired with simple shaker white uppers and gold hardware accents AH! a must have.

Quarry Mill
This stunning kitchen highlights Cambrian Creek natural thin veneer from the Quarry Mill. Cambrian Creek is a classic real stone veneer cut into the dimensional (sawn-height) style. The stone is natural dolomitic limestone with the timeless colors of gold, buff and the occasional grey. The quarrying and production process for Cambrian Creek is quite impressive. The stone is cut from the ground in blocks roughly the size of a car. Then, the blocks get sawn or sliced as it is called into large sheets of stone in heights of 2.25”, 5” and 7.75”. The sheets are fed into the splitter where the hydraulic press breaks them every four inches. At this stage, the stone is considered building stone or full veneer. Finally, the pieces are run through the saw to create the beautiful thin veneer.

A significant transformation to the layout allowed this room to evolve into a multi function space. With precise allocation of appliances, generous proportions to the island bench; which extends around to create a comfortable dining space and clean lines, this open plan kitchen and living area will be the envy of all entertainers!
