Renaissance Design StudioThis home was built by the client in 2000. Mom decided it's time for an elegant and functional update since the kids are now teens, with the eldest in college. The marble flooring is throughout all of the home so that was the palette that needed to coordinate with all the new materials and furnishings.
It's always fun when a client wants to make their laundry room a special place. The homeowner wanted a laundry room as beautiful as her kitchen with lots of folding counter space. We also included a kitty cutout for the litter box to both conceal it and keep out the pups. There is also a pull out trash, plenty of organized storage space, a hidden clothes rod and a charming farm sink. Glass tile was placed on the backsplash above the marble tops for added glamor.
The cabinetry is painted Gauntlet Gray by Sherwin Williams.

BOWAThe addition on the right side of the home includes a three-bay garage and also features a secondary entrance to the house featuring a two-story foyer with a stairway leading to the upper-level guest suite and new laundry room; a family foyer that includes ample space for collecting and storing the active family’s gear; a powder room; and, at the back of the addition, a light-filled hallway overlooking the rear yard.

Amy Troute Inspired Interior DesignWe love this multi-talented room. It's a perfectly functional laundry room, mud room off the garage entry with bench, cubby and hanging storage and a wonderful hobby/craft area. The warm wood table top offsets the large format tile countertops. So welcoming!

randbollThe Homeowner custom cut/finished a butcher block top (at the same thickness (1") of the granite counter-top), to be placed on the farm sink which increased the amount of available space to fold laundry, etc.
Note: the faucet merely swings out of the way.
2nd note: a square butcher block of the proper desired length and width and thickness can be purchased online, and then finished (round the corners to proper radius of Farm Sink corners, finish with several coats of clear coat polyurethane), as the homeowner did.

Legacy CraftWe recently created this super stylish and functional laundry room, equipped with custom made, fold-away clothes drying racks, an area that doubles as a gift wrapping station with drawers that dispense ribbons, and many other unique features.

Ann Lowengart InteriorsThe family living in this shingled roofed home on the Peninsula loves color and pattern. At the heart of the two-story house, we created a library with high gloss lapis blue walls. The tête-à-tête provides an inviting place for the couple to read while their children play games at the antique card table. As a counterpoint, the open planned family, dining room, and kitchen have white walls. We selected a deep aubergine for the kitchen cabinetry. In the tranquil master suite, we layered celadon and sky blue while the daughters' room features pink, purple, and citrine.
ErikaWe repurposed a linen closet and added the space to our small laundry room. We also added 4 recessed can lights to replace the single light fixture.
Christopher HowardAs part of a commission for a bespoke kitchen, we maximised this additional space for a utility boot room. The upper tier cabinets were designed to take a selection of storage baskets, while the tall counter slim cabinet sits in front of a pipe box and makes a great storage space for the client's selection of vases. Shoes are neatly stored out of the way with a bench in Oak above for a seated area.
