M DesignThis space wasn't large, but it needed to be highly functional. We purchased new, front-loading washer & dryer appliances so that we could install easy to maintain Caesarstone countertops and create valuable horizontal space to fold laundry and store frequently used items such as hand & laundry soap. We installed a small but deep sink and a faucet with a goodneck to ensure tall buckets could fit in the sink. The jewel of this bathroom is the carrara marble backsplash in an arabesque pattern. It is divine and elevates the space from a ordinary laundry room to an extraordinarily pretty space. Tracey Ayton Photography.

This project was not about just putting two things together, it was about coming up with the best solutions to accomplish the overall vision. A true meeting of the minds was required around every turn to achieve "rough" in its most luxurious state.

Standale Home StudioThe floor, from Virginia Tile, is Charelston multi colored set in a random pattern. This is an easy care floor coming in from the garage. To the right is a mud room and the laundry room is to the left. When the faucets were turned on, they splashed the wall. SO the tile setter used some of the same flooring to create this back splash.
Neil Kelly CompanyThe new mudroom/laundry room has storage for coats, hats, bags, and shoes, with a bench and baskets on the shelf above. New side-by-side washer and dryer with a convenient countertop for folding. Upper cabinets for detergent storage, and a rod installed at ceiling height for hanging garments to dry.
JayMarc HomesThe Harlow's laundry room combines both style and functionality with its white laundry machines, gray cabinets, and black cabinet hardware. The gray cabinets add a touch of sophistication to the space, while the black hardware offers a sleek contrast. The white countertop provides ample workspace for folding and sorting laundry. A silver faucet adds a polished look and ensures convenient access to water. The utility sink serves as a practical feature, allowing for additional cleaning and soaking tasks. The gray subway tile and hexagon tile floor add texture and visual interest to the room. Overall, the Harlow's laundry room is designed to make laundry chores more efficient and enjoyable.
