Knight Custom HomesThese homeowners told us they were so in love with some of the details in our Springbank Hill renovation that they wanted to see a couple of them in their own home - so we obliged! It was an honour to know that we nailed the design on the original so perfectly that another family would want to bring a similar version of it into their own home. In the kitchen, we knocked out the triangular island and the pantry to make way for a better layout with even more storage space for this young family. A fresh laundry room with ample cabinetry and a serene ensuite with a show-stopping black tub also brought a new look to what was once a dark and dated builder grade home.

Highland Builders LLCThis laundry room has so much character! The patterned tile gives it the wow factor it needs. Cabinets are painted in Sherwin Williams Grizzle Gray as well as all the trim, window seat, and crown molding. The farmhouse apron front sink and white milk glass hardware bring in a bit of vintage to the space.
Lustig Custom CabinetsCombination layout of laundry, mudroom & pantry rooms come together in cabinetry & cohesive design. Soft maple cabinetry finished in our light, Antique White stain creates the lake house, beach style.
JWH Design and Cabinetry LLCThe shiplap walls ties together the tricky architectural angles in the room. 2-level countertops, above the sink and the washer/dryer units provides plenty of folding surface. The ceramic tile pattern is a fun and practical alternative to cement tile.
Kasper Custom Home RemodelingTwo teenage boys means a lot of laundry. But two teenage boys who also play sports? Now *that's* a lot of laundry. Additional counter space, cabinetry, and shelves for laundry baskets gave this homeowner the space to tackle (pun intended) massive loads of laundry.
LS Winston Building Corp.This laundry space/mudroom was carved out between the garage (which is located underneath the house), and the living space. It's a fairly simple, utilitarian space.
Right Arm ConstructionRenovation of existing basement space as a completely separate ADU (accessory dwelling unit) registered with the City of Portland. Clients plan to use the new space for short term rentals and potentially a rental on Airbnb.

Melissa Hill Home DesignWhen our clients moved into their already built home they decided to live in it for a while before making any changes. Once they were settled they decided to hire us as their interior designers to renovate and redesign various spaces of their home. As they selected the spaces to be renovated they expressed a strong need for storage and customization. They allowed us to design every detail as well as oversee the entire construction process directing our team of skilled craftsmen. The home is a traditional home so it was important for us to retain some of the traditional elements while incorporating our clients style preferences.
