henhouseWe redesigned the front hall to give the space a big "Wow" when you walked in. This paper was the jumping off point for the whole palette of the kitchen, powder room and adjoining living room. It sets the tone that this house is fun, stylish and full of custom touches that reflect the homeowners love of colour and fashion. We added the wainscotting which continues into the kitchen/powder room to give the space more architectural interest and to soften the bold wall paper. We kept the antique table, which is a heirloom, but modernized it with contemporary lighting.
Caine & CompanyThis renovation was for a couple who were world travelers and wanted to bring their collected furniture pieces from other countries into the eclectic design of their house. The style is a mix of contemporary with the façade of the house, the entryway door, the stone on the fireplace, the quartz kitchen countertops, the mosaic kitchen backsplash are in juxtaposition to the traditional kitchen cabinets, hardwood floors and style of the master bath and closet. As you enter through the handcrafted window paned door into the foyer, you look up to see the wood trimmed clearstory windows that lead to the backyard entrance. All of the shutters are remote controlled so as to make for easy opening and closing. The house became a showcase for the special pieces and the designer and clients were pleased with the result.

Elan EvansThis Grand Entry was designed by Candace Barnes for the 2015 San Francisco Decorator Showcase House. We were happy to create a custom, hand painted, metallic wallpaper for the ceiling. Donna White Interior DesignIt takes a special leader of a company to agree to lie down on a roll of left over carpet to have his outline drawn. The resulting rug is a great opportunity for the boss to say 'over my dead body' to some staff requests.
The non-profit stance of the business allowed for tremendous interior design creativiy, and was an exciting challenge. The budget did not allow us to extend to runners to soften the polished concrete underfoot in the entry, so we drew organic shapes on to left-over commercial grade carpet, and laid these down the length of the entry foyer - including an outline of the CEO's body - 'Over my Dead Body'.
