Design by AngelaStaircase in 1966 home was outdated and dark.. Painted all wall/ceiling in a light blue to brighten up and let the natural sunlight coming thru highlight the wall space. Painted original back door (yellow oak) bright white and covered up old vinyl with fun carpet tiles.. Adding 2 nice sized blue/white beach themed artwork and addedWall flower art decor! markiewicz GmbHDiese einzigartige Wangentreppe wurde 2015 im Berliner Penthouse des Mitbegründers der international bekannten Werbeagentur „Jung von Matt“, Jean-Remy von Matt und seiner Gattin Natalie von Matt fertiggestellt. Die Kreativität des Bauherrn einerseits und die durch uns realisierte Handwerkskunst andererseits spiegeln sich eindrucksvoll in der Asymmetrie des Treppenlaufes und im dreidimensional ausgearbeiteten Geländer wider. Durch das organische und naturalistische Design weckt die Treppenkonstruktion Assoziationen mit der charakteristischen Baukunst des katalanischen Architekten Antoni Gaudí.
markiewicz GmbHDieses logistisch und künstlerisch höchst anspruchsvolle Projekt stand unter der Überschrift „markiewicz goes alpine“. Erstmals arbeitete unser Team in den Schweizer Alpen in über 2100 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel. Die Treppe erstreckt sich über vier Geschosse und beeindruckt durch ihre Symbiose aus in sich ruhendem Naturstein und edlem, geschwungenem Eichenholz. Das künstlerische Highlight ist das geflochtene und handgeschnitzte Geländer, das den Händen, die es berührt, wunderbar schmeichelt. Gemeinsam mit unserem Projektpartner und Auftraggeber, den Deutschen Werkstätten Hellerau, dem Architekten Karsten Sippel und dem Designer Jacques Garcia, blicken wir mit Stolz auf dieses Kunstwerk in gebirgiger Höhe.

Design by AngelaFinished staircase in 1966' home. Steps were refinished and sealed after carpet removal. Too give the entrance oomph, we added carpet tiles to risers and entry area. It is an amazing look walking in and durable at the same time. Carpet tiles are removable and can easily be cleaned and put back..
