Atwood: Fine Architectural CabinetryA wine bar off this new construction timber lake house kitchen captures the long water views from both the island prep sink and perimeter clean up sink, which are both flanked by their own respective dishwashers. The homeowners often entertain parties of 14 to 20 friends and family who love to congregate in the kitchen and adjoining keeping room which necessitated the six-place snack bar. Although a large space overall, the work triangle was kept tight. Gourmet chef appliances include 2 warming drawers, 2 ovens and a steam oven, and a microwave, with a hidden drop-down TV tucked between them.

We had so much fun designing in this Spanish meets beach style with wonderful clients who travel the world with their 3 sons. The clients had excellent taste and ideas they brought to the table, and were always open to Jamie's suggestions that seemed wildly out of the box at the time. The end result was a stunning mix of traditional, Meditteranean, and updated coastal that reflected the many facets of the clients. The bar area downstairs is a sports lover's dream, while the bright and beachy formal living room upstairs is perfect for book club meetings. One of the son's personal photography is tastefully framed and lines the hallway, and custom art also ensures this home is uniquely and divinely designed just for this lovely family.

Diane Plesset, CMKBD, NCIDQ, C.A.P.S.The updated butler's pantry blends with the kitchen. Custom cherry cabinets feature glass inserts in the upper doors, and there's an open cabinet for liquor. The countertop has the same granite as the kitchen, and travertine tiles were used for the backsplash. There's an integrated ice maker and a built-in espresso machine. LED strip lights were used above and under the wall cabinets. LED puck lights enhance the liquor storage.
StoneWorks, Inc.Ah, the wine room...and what a room...for the serious wine connoisseur! Adjacent to the kitchen, we see the same gorgeous Copenhagen granite countertops and contrasting Diamante Midtown Brown glass mosaic tile backsplash. Two wine coolers and glass front lighted cabinets for the wine glasses make this a very special room. Love the light fixture and easy access to the porch...all for better entertaining.
Moehl Millwork, Inc.Moehl Millwork provided cabinetry made by Waypoint Living Spaces for this butler's pantry. The cabinets are stained java on cherry. The door series is 610.
