Artisan Custom ClosetsThis custom built mudroom in Marietta offers individual lockers and cubbies for this mother of four. Features include white raised panel doors and drawer fronts, beadboard backing, robe hooks, lots of overhead and below storage, and chrome hardware.
Highland Builders LLCDouble front glass entry door with 24" tall transoms adjacent to stairs to lower level. The stairway has box wood newel posts and contemporary handrail with iron balusters. A full arched niche painted in a teal accent color welcomes at the foyer.

It's the area that needs to be the MOST organized so why not make it both functional AND beautiful, with a splash of color in an otherwise dark area of your home? All members of the family can grab what they need in a hurry, including the dog!
R. Cartwright DesignThe focal point of the dramatic formal entryway is the double staircase, which was completely refinished. The wrought iron railing was a custom design and finished with a special hand-applied blacking. A gray pedestal table with a gracefully curved base and brass accents greets visitors. A pair of large scale wooden chadeliers add an organic touch.

Closet FactoryMudrooms are practical entryway spaces that serve as a buffer between the outdoors and the main living areas of a home. Typically located near the front or back door, mudrooms are designed to keep the mess of the outside world at bay.
These spaces often feature built-in storage for coats, shoes, and accessories, helping to maintain a tidy and organized home. Durable flooring materials, such as tile or easy-to-clean surfaces, are common in mudrooms to withstand dirt and moisture.
Additionally, mudrooms may include benches or cubbies for convenient seating and storage of bags or backpacks. With hooks for hanging outerwear and perhaps a small sink for quick cleanups, mudrooms efficiently balance functionality with the demands of an active household, providing an essential transitional space in the home.
Lynn Hoffman Design, LLCAll finishes needed to be refreshed. Low-maintenance and green finishes were used on three floors. Existing furniture was reused, repurposed, reupholstered and refinished as required.
Katherine Stern DesignUsing a bold Indoor/Outdoor area rug in the entrance foyer is a perfect example illustrating that you do not have to sacrifice practicality for high-design. The silver table from Z Galleries adds a touch of elegance as well as serving as a practical surface to place keys, bags, etc. Bannister, railings and stair risers painted "almost" black" and cause you to gaze up to the chandelier.
