Moss wall, vertical plant garden art
Moss wall, vertical plant garden art

This green living wall art is actually preserved moss in a burned pine frame. It is accented by a glass vase that is made to look opaque and down. The reeds in the vase offset the green of the vertical garden. The green wall really pops out against the white background and mid-century cabinet.

Prominent in the center of the space is an abstract painting acquired by the client. It is bright and full of color. Up close, the painting has a two dimensional medium. The accessories are strategic and emphasize the black and orange hues. A more modern buffet anchors the painting. The contrast of the white lacquer offsets the rich walnut dining table. There are so many details and sensations to every elements in the space. The custom dining table was fabricated by AAHLLC after many months of exploration. The round dining table can accommodate a small gathering at 66" and perimeter leaves attach for a maximum of 88" diameter for larger gatherings. Decorative brass rings at the legs add an unexpected jewelry to the base. A mixture of two fabrics dress a refurbished Restoration Hardware chair; the exterior fabric is a digital velvet print. Small space living solutions are used throughout this contemporary 596 square foot tiny house. Adjustable height table in the entry area serves as both a coffee table for socializing and as a dining table for eating. Curved banquette is upholstered in outdoor fabric for durability and maximizes space with hidden storage underneath the seat. Kitchen island has a retractable countertop for additional seating while the living area conceals a work desk and media center behind sliding shoji screens. Calming tones of sand and deep ocean blue fill the tiny bedroom downstairs. Glowing bedside sconces utilize wall-mounting and swing arms to conserve bedside space and maximize flexibility.
