Eyoh DesignGuadalajara, San Clemente Coastal Modern Remodel
This major remodel and addition set out to take full advantage of the incredible view and create a clear connection to both the front and rear yards. The clients really wanted a pool and a home that they could enjoy with their kids and take full advantage of the beautiful climate that Southern California has to offer. The existing front yard was completely given to the street, so privatizing the front yard with new landscaping and a low wall created an opportunity to connect the home to a private front yard. Upon entering the home a large staircase blocked the view through to the ocean so removing that space blocker opened up the view and created a large great room.
Indoor outdoor living was achieved through the usage of large sliding doors which allow that seamless connection to the patio space that overlooks a new pool and view to the ocean. A large garden is rare so a new pool and bocce ball court were integrated to encourage the outdoor active lifestyle that the clients love.
The clients love to travel and wanted display shelving and wall space to display the art they had collected all around the world. A natural material palette gives a warmth and texture to the modern design that creates a feeling that the home is lived in. Though a subtle change from the street, upon entering the front door the home opens up through the layers of space to a new lease on life with this remodel.
Urban Oasis Landscape DesignThe custom concrete bench was designed to nestle into the hillside in a separate patio space paved with decomposed granite. It is strategically placed to take in the beautiful canyon vista.
Abbaté DesignsThe clients wanted a landscape that matches the Spanish Colonial Revival style of this NE Portland Home. The copper-clad fence serves as a dramatic backdrop for a complete redo of the landscape, bringing new garden features and Mediterranean plants that could thrive in the PNW.
Moss Boss StudiosThis garden is all about creating a fun, safe environment for kids to learn and play. Log steppers and boulders of varying heights encourage the young ones to test their balance, while mini railway sleepers provide a place to rest and chat. The bush tucker garden provides a sensory experience and an opportunity for the kids to learn about bush food and food growing.
Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design, Inc.Our client hired us to renovate their yard that had an old patio that was installed incorrectly years previous. They wanted as maintenance free as possible but with a definite budget in mind. Lastly, they wanted to begin to grow a lot of vegetables at home and therefore wanted some raised cedar planters to suit their needs. We utilized rundle for the bedding areas and concrete edges for ease of maintaining the property in their retirement years. Great project!!

Treehouse Landscape DesignThis beautiful property featured beautiful decks, patios, a pool, water fall, sport court and stone planters, but the landscape needed to be expanded, refreshed and revived for sale. Using an eye for beauty and balance, we added beautiful plants, lighting, a new lawn, bark, a fire pit area, screening shrubs for the neighbors, and new plants for the patio planters. It turned out beautiful and was sold at a great price for the sellers.
Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design, Inc.Our client contacted us wanting to create a relatively maintenance free yard that focuses on relaxing family time spent in the sun as opposed to yard work. We designed and built the project utilizing synthetic grass, aggregate bedding and wonderful paving stone patio with a large cedar privacy pergola as the main focal point. Lighting & concrete edging along with step stones finished off this stunning project!!
