Chester County Kitchen & BathSpacious basement bar with Fieldstone Bar Cabinetry. Cherry wood species with stain color, Toffee, with a Chocolate Glaze. 27” base cabinets on back wall each have bottom roll trays in them for ease of use and storage. Square raised panel with roping border. Volga Blue granite topped the gorgeous cabinetry.
Banner's CabinetsThis bar and entertainment area has a working wet bar that is fully enclosed and incorporates stained glass and beveled glass wood-mullion entry doors. The paneled header to the ceiling is supported at the bar top my decorative turned columns. Across the hall is a custom-designed banquette seat with storage behind the raised-panel doors (which are on touch-catches). The seating is accented by plinths and paneled columns and has space for the owner to display a few sculptures.
Kathy Appel, ASIDThe beautifully crafted custom bar was existing. The design dilemma was a lack of accessories on the back bar, a small table and chairs in the lounge area and dark mahogany bar stools. The bar overpowered the sparsely furnished lounge area and made the space feel empty and uninviting. We added the wall mural which brings in elements of nature and creates the illusion of a wine cellar. The high back upholstered banquette beckons guests to take a seat. The hand crafted tavern table and bench are the perfect size for this space. We swapped out the bar stools for a complimentary wood tone and assembled a unique collection of wine decanters, wine boxes and glass bottles for the back bar. The lounge area is now warm and inviting and the perfect compliment to the bar.
Meridian ConstructionThis basement project in Blue Bell, PA took the space from an unfinished storage space to an in-home Sports Bar. These homeowners wanted a space where they could entertain friends, neighbors, and the whole family. The design included a real brick backdrop for the bar, authentic restaurant booths, and recessed display shelves for their sport memorabilia collection. Meridian designed flush glass photo display inserts in the granite bar top. This sports bar style basement is very traditional and fun for adults and kids. Design and Construction by Meridian.
