Lazenby’s Light Natural polished concrete is a creative addition to Sommer Pyne’s brainchild, House Curious. Designed to be a perfect environment for regular use and to add to the homeowners desire to “create magic for lovely people”.
Lazenby’s Light Natural polished concrete floors have been installed 100mm deep over underfloor heating. Inside and out, House Curious comprises 207m² of Lazenby’s mottled, satin finished, iconic concrete floors creating elegant architectural lines throughout.
Due to logistics and project programme the internal and external areas were installed at 2 different times. Four external steps were installed at a separate time due to their size at approx. 8m long and all shutters were stripped so that the faces could be rendered. This technique ensured that the steps were as close a match as possible to the connecting patio, forming a sleek architectural space.

Trade Winds ConstructionNice little addition to add a dry bar to this space with butcher block shelving and counter-tops. Beer and wine fridges and cabinet storage makes this an ideal space for any game room or office.
Ranieri Construction LLCThe kitchen, family room and bar area focus on modern elements with a splash of glam. We left the, previously earth toned, stacked stone walls but painted them white to blend with the new, modern feel. Granite countertops, glass front white cabinets, and the sparkly, glass mosaic tile backsplash match the kitchen. The beaded pendant lights t add a little more glam.

D&G ConstructionA beautiful modern styled, galley, wet bar with a black, quartz, infinity countertop and recessed panel, white cabinets with black metallic handles. The wet bar has stainless steel appliances and a stainless steel undermount sink. The flooring is a gray wood vinyl and the walls are gray with large white trim. The back wall consists of white stone slabs that turn into the backsplash for the wet bar area. Above the wet bar are bronze/gold decorative light fixtures. To the left of the wet bar is a sleek linear fireplace with a black encasement integrated into the white stone slabs.
Wesgrove HomesThis extensive renovation consisted of a full kitchen and living area remodel, upscale wine cellar room complete with a floor to ceiling wine display wall, office / guest room, and laundry room.
Specific custom cabinetry and millwork, flooring, tile, and lighting, were added to each room to create a contemporary yet lived-in feel. Every detail was carefully chosen to compliment the home owner's style and needs.
