Design Connection, Inc.Arlene designed a space that is transitional in style. She used an updated color palette of gray tons to compliment the adjoining kitchen. By opening the space up and unifying design styles throughout, the blending of the two rooms becomes seamless.
Comfort was the primary consideration in selecting the sectional as the client wanted to be able to sit at length for leisure and TV viewing. The side tables are a dark wood that blends beautifully with the newly installed dark wood floors, the windows are dressed in simple treatments of gray linen with navy accents, for the perfect final touch.
With regard to artwork and accessories, Arlene spent many hours at outside markets finding just the perfect accessories to compliment all the furnishings. With comfort and function in mind, each welcoming seat is flanked by a surface for setting a drink – again, making it ideal for entertaining.
Design Connection, Inc. of Overland Park provided the following for this project: space plans, furniture, window treatments, paint colors, wood floor selection, tile selection and design, lighting, artwork and accessories, and as the project manager, Arlene Ladegaard oversaw installation of all the furnishings and materials.
Delaney's DesignLarge game room with golf simulator room (behind sliding doors). Large enough for seating, shuffleboard and pool tables. Everything you need within arm's reach at the bar - cooler, suspended bar, icemaker and sink!
Ginger Rabe Designs, LLCThis home in Encinitas was in need of a refresh to bring the Ocean into this family near the beach. The kitchen had a complete remodel with new cabinets, glass, sinks, faucets, custom blue color to match our clients favorite colors of the sea, and so much more. We custom made the design on the cabinets and wrapped the island and gave it a pop of color. The dining room had a custom large buffet with teak tile laced into the current hardwood floor. Every room was remodeled and the clients even have custom GR Studio furniture, (the Dorian Swivel Chair and the Warren 3 Piece Sofa). These pieces were brand new introduced in 2019 and this home on the beach was the first to have them. It was a pleasure designing this home with this family from custom window treatments, furniture, flooring, gym, kids play room, and even the outside where we introduced our new custom GR Studio outdoor coverings. JWH Design and Cabinetry LLCThis symmetrical Bar divides the space between the banquette and the family room, allowing easy access to both. The quartzite slab continues on the backsplash to differentiate this area.
