Swanson HomesWith an athletic court (disco ball included!), billiards game space, and a mini kitchen/bar overlooking the media lounge area -- this lower level is sure to be the coolest hangout spot on the block! The kids are set for sleepovers in this lower level–it provides ample space to run around, and extra bedrooms to crash after the fun!
Sho and CoWe created a parlor for home entertaining where an unused formal living room used to sit. Now this area can be used to socialize with friends and family after a meal in the adjacent dining space. Relaxing and inviting and functional.
Fuchsia InteriorsBasement space transformed into a cosy theatre room including a bar space fitted into the under-stair cavity.
The colour scheme inspired by the fabulous natural 'lava like' stone used on the bar bench-top and splash-back.
Luxury furnishings were all custom made to fit the space exactly.
Design Connection, Inc.From the initial meeting, a space for bar glasses and a serving area was requested by the client when they entertain their friends and family. Their last kitchen lacked a space for sterling silver ware, placemats and tablecloths. The soft close drawers with full extension allow for easy access to her most precious possessions. The quartzite countertops and back splash create a beautiful ambience and allow for ease when using this space as a bar or serving area. The glasses will show center stage behind the seeded glass doors and glass shelves with Led puck lights. The dark coffee bean stain blends beautifully with the dark custom blend stain on the floors. The second phase of this project will be new furnishings for the living room that accompanies this beautiful new kitchen and will add various shades of dark finishes.

Robin's Nest InteriorsDirectly across from the entrance is a small Kitchenette which houses a corner sink, a microwave, and a beverage center. The cabinetry by PC Homes in New Albany, IN has a painted black finish with a bronze glaze. The countertops are quartz by Cambria. The faucets and cabinetry hardware is in a brushed nickel finish to pop off the dark cabinetry. We did not want this area to feel like a Kitchen, so in lieu of upper cabinets, we did chunky floating shelves the same wood tone as the china cabinet nestled between the two bump outs. We accessorized with the homeowner’s collection of white dish ware. The homeowner found this fabulous wood cutout of the state of Kentucky at a local art gallery.

Quartz and stainless steel appliance including icemaker and undermount wine cooler. Backsplash in distressed mirror tiles with glass wall units with metal framing. Shelves in pewter iron.

TruBuild Construction, LLCTotal remodel of a rambler including finishing the basement. We moved the kitchen to a new location, added a large kitchen window above the sink and created an island with space for seating. Hardwood flooring on the main level, added a master bathroom, and remodeled the main bathroom. with a family room, wet bar, laundry closet, bedrooms, and a bathroom.
