SH interiorsWe had this rustic bar made in Ohio and shipped to LA. It's made of solid reclaimed Oak material and weighed almost a ton. But it was all worth the effort. We used a striking stone counter top and stone mosaic to compliment the dark wood. The floating shelves add a lightness to the space. The wine cabinets were custom made to fit on either side of the bar. The combination of different wood stains adds some depth to the space and gives the space a worn lived in feel.
Sheila Rich Interiors, LLCWe added a bar between the kitchen and family room, which is perfect for entertaining and additional storage. The herringbone marble backsplash coordinates with the kitchen, as does the quartz countertop. The center glass doors display glassware and add an open feeling. Photography: Lauren Hagerstrom

Refined Renovations & Refined HomeThis family wanted an updated kitchen for their home on the golf course. The kitchen has white cabinets with a walnut island that looks like a piece of furniture. The counters are a solid-surface quartz. We added a built-in banquette which provides a window seat to enjoy a morning coffee.
