Brooke Taylor Designs IncBanquette in bar area made of shiplap for easy clean up to seat lots of people. This area is part of a basement complete with a bar, game room, entertainment area, fireplace, wine closet, and home gym.
Pinnacle Design & RemodelingSometimes things just happen organically. This client reached out to me in a professional capacity to see if I wanted to advertise in his new magazine. I declined at that time because as team we have chosen to be referral based, not advertising based.
Even with turning him down, he and his wife decided to sign on with us for their basement... which then upon completion rolled into their main floor (part 2).
They wanted a very distinct style and already had a pretty good idea of what they wanted. We just helped bring it all to life. They wanted a kid friendly space that still had an adult vibe that no longer was based off of furniture from college hand-me-down years.
Since they loved modern farmhouse style we had to make sure there was shiplap and also some stained wood elements to warm up the space.
This space is a great example of a very nice finished basement done cost-effectively without sacrificing some comforts or features.

Long-time, returning clients wanted a family hang out space, equipped with a fireplace, wet bar, bathroom, workout room and guest bedroom.
They loved the idea of adding value to their home, but loved the idea of having a place for their boys to go with friends even more.
We used the luxury vinyl plank from their main floor for continuity, as well as navy influences that we have incorporated around their home so far, this time in the cabinetry and vanity.
The unique fireplace design was a fun alternative to shiplap and a regular tiled facade.

The couple requested a casual, elegant style incorporating durable, cleanable finishes, fabrics and furnishings. Artwork, rugs, furnishings, window treatments and interior design by Emily Hughes at The Mansion. The floors are a maple stained in a warm gray-brown, provided by Grays Hardwood. Che Bella Interiors Design + RemodelingThe lower level entertainment area is set up for large gatherings. LVP flooring with a worn wood look runs throughout the bar and entertainment space. Clear alder cabinetry, wainscoting and crown draws the bar and entertainment center together.
The bar features tin ceiling detail, brass foot rail, metal and leather bar stools, waxed soapstone countertops, beveled antique mirror tiles, Irish inspired bar details and antique inspired lighting.
