Les COV, c’est quoi? Les Composés Organiques Volatiles sont des substances chimiques allergisantes ou même cancérigènes émises par la plupart des produits que nous utilisons au quotidien. Ils constituent la principale source de pollution dans une habitation, puisqu’ils émanent notamment des colles, des vernis et des solvants utilisés dans l’ameublement. Pour nos clients, à la tête d’un chai qui travaille en bio, nous devions être particulièrement rigoureux et trouver des alternatives qui n’en rejettent pas. Côté assemblage, l’usage de colles étant proscrit, le solide surface de marque Krion a été soudé ou thermoformé, tandis que les pièces en bois sont tenues entre elles par des chevilles. Pour la finition, nous sommes partis sur une lasure et une laque Unikalo, toutes deux labelisées Excell + (label qui atteste de la faible émission de COV dans l’air). What are VOC ? Volatile organic compounds are allergenic chemical substances released by most products in our houses. VOC are the main pollution source in homes as they come from glues, varnishes, solvents used in furnishing. For our clients and their organic winery, we had to be careful. To put the counter together, we coudn't use glue. We welded the parts made out of Solid Surface, whereas we used dowels for the ones made out of wood. We then applied a stain and a lacquer, both labeled Excell +.

One of our more unusual projects, helping two budding interior design enthusiasts to create a bar in their garage with a utility area at the rear with boiler and laundry items and a sink... OnePlan was happy to help and guide with the space planning - but the amazing decor was all down to the clients, who sourced furnishings and chose the decor themselves - it's worthy of a visit from Jay Gatsby himself! Situé dans la cité médiévale de Conflans, le projet du coffee shop Café Perché, s’inscrit dans une tension volontaire entre l’histoire médiévale et une identité dynamique inspirée par l’univers de la montagne et du sport. Le lieu se perçoit à la fois sur le plan culinaire, graphique et spatial, la couleur servant d ’outil pour activer l’existant et créer du contraste. Le bleu électrique se veut vibrant et audacieux, le jaune évoque la lumière du matin. Ces teintes affirment l ’ identité contemporaine du lieu. Elles constituent la ligne directrice du projet, mettant en valeur les cheminements et les vues vers l'extérieur. Saveur et couleur participent à une immersion chromatique, pensée comme une expérience sensorielle.

This bespoke drinks station was made to enable enough storage for the glasses already owned by the family as well as a feature for their home. Integral to the design was the inclusion of an ice maker in one of the cupboards - fully plumbed in.
