Charming details provide a rich patina. The old Chicago brick walls, the white slurried brick walls, old ceiling beams, and deep green paint colors, all add up to a house filled with comfort and charm for this dear family.

Jetton Construction, Inc.This property was transformed from an 1870s YMCA summer camp into an eclectic family home, built to last for generations. Space was made for a growing family by excavating the slope beneath and raising the ceilings above. Every new detail was made to look vintage, retaining the core essence of the site, while state of the art whole house systems ensure that it functions like 21st century home.

Hindley & Co Architecture & Interior DesignArt deco library featuring a large arched doorway framed by bookcases. Wall and bookcase painted in dark green from Dulux (colour: Coriole). Occasional Joy chair upholstered in elk velvet mustard from Jardan. Flooring in oak wood laid in a herringbone pattern with a matt lacquer for a minimalist styling. Henck Design LLCFinally the Library. We designed and specified every angle and measurement here. A wall to wall custom builtin for first floor entertainment, storage and lounge space is right off the main office on the first floor and main entry. Any guests first impression of this home will truly be an inspiring one, and any friend looking to borrow a book and read a while, certainly has a place to do it!
Laura Engen Interior DesignHer Office will primarily serve as a craft room for her and kids, so we did a cork floor that would be easy to clean and still comfortable to sit on. The fabrics are all indoor/outdoor and commercial grade for durability. We wanted to maintain a girly look so we added really feminine touches with the crystal chandelier, floral accessories to match the wallpaper and pink accents through out the room to really pop against the green.
