Robert Rhodes Architecture + InteriorsRipplevale Grove is our monochrome and contemporary renovation and extension of a lovely little Georgian house in central Islington.
We worked with Paris-based design architects Lia Kiladis and Christine Ilex Beinemeier to delver a clean, timeless and modern design that maximises space in a small house, converting a tiny attic into a third bedroom and still finding space for two home offices - one of which is in a plywood clad garden studio.
Heritage Design StudioThe paneling in this home office was reproduced with exclusive permission of the Winterthur museum in Delaware. Hull historical was the builder and custom built and installed many custom details for the home, including the paneling, moulding, mantels, doors and windows.
The wall was painted a high gloss (very dark) teal color.
My Cabinet FactoryA custom finish on Knotty Alder cabinetry and wood paneling in a home office/library. The wall paneling lines the entire room and Inset cabinetry and tall bookcases are installed on either side of the room.
Yantram Animation StudioYantram has design the office having such good space with extensive white desk and revolving chair, also wall mounted lighting.
Srote & Co Architects | Planners | InteriorsThis architecture and interior design project was introduced to us by the client’s contractor after their villa had been damaged extensively by a fire. The entire main level was destroyed with exception of the front study.
Srote & Co reimagined the interior layout of this St. Albans villa to give it an "open concept" and applied universal design principles to make sure it would function for our clients as they aged in place. The universal approach is seen in the flush flooring transitions, low pile rugs and carpets, wide walkways, layers of lighting and in the seated height countertop and vanity. For convenience, the laundry room was relocated to the master walk-in closet. This allowed us to create a dedicated pantry and additional storage off the kitchen where the laundry was previously housed.

Rimma Monk IDWhen we renovated this period English house, we wanted to pay homage to the historical significance and charm of the property while also updating it to meet modern needs and aesthetic preferences.
In terms of the design aesthetic, we drew inspiration from traditional English homes, incorporating warm, natural materials like wood and stone, and emphasising comfortable, inviting spaces. I also added modern touches, such as sleek lighting fixtures and accessories to create a sense of contrast and balance.
