Innovative Flooring DesignKennedy Point from Fabrica - This is a new wool carpet in a textured looped style. Each of the eight available colors has a beautiful and soft tonal variation.
John Case Adams, ArchitectThis project required the renovation of the Master Bedroom area of a Westchester County country house. Previously other areas of the house had been renovated by our client but she had saved the best for last. We reimagined and delineated five separate areas for the Master Suite from what before had been a more open floor plan: an Entry Hall; Master Closet; Master Bath; Study and Master Bedroom. We clarified the flow between these rooms and unified them with the rest of the house by using common details such as rift white oak floors; blackened Emtek hardware; and french doors to let light bleed through all of the spaces. We selected a vein cut travertine for the Master Bathroom floor that looked a lot like the rift white oak flooring elsewhere in the space so this carried the motif of the floor material into the Master Bathroom as well. Our client took the lead on selection of all the furniture, bath fixtures and lighting so we owe her no small praise for not only carrying the design through to the smallest details but coordinating the work of the contractors as well.
Pineapple House Interior DesignRuffles update the teen girl's bedroom because of their unexpected circular overlapping pattern on the bedding. The shams bring another layer of ruffle into play, as does the crinoline in the chair's accent pillow. The mirrored dressers and gothic mirrors over the pieces help expand and brighten the room.

Talianko Design Group, LLCA hotel inspired master bedroom includes a white duvet and taupe colored headboard with hammered silver nail head and light button tufting. The gathered skirt is from the same headboard fabric. A silk embroidered floral pillow along with a soft blue velvet bolster trimmed with French rope is the height of luxury. A custom made mirror framed vertically suggests height to the bedroom walls. The chandelier with fabric shade can be dimmed for any mood. Simply Home DecoratingThe small master bedroom in this 1950's era home lacked character as well as space so we added some molding detail to the focal wall behind the bed and kept furniture to a minimum, replacing the closet and dressers with built-in cabinetry along one wall. The black painted furniture provides a strong masculine foundation that is softened with a pretty chandelier, delicate hardware and deep coral velvet cushions that can be changed out with the seasons.
