Fresh design horizons for the contemporary kitchen
Foodshelf is the innovative response to contemporary home design solutions in which the kitchen and living area become more "fluid" and multifunctional and their characteristics tend to merge.
Like a latest-generation bookshelf, the Foodshelf kitchen - in which the French designer’s creativity of genius and Scavolini’s vast experience combine to perfection - features a "new horizontal linearity".
It is centred on a series of woodlook shelves that run the entire length of the kitchen and living area, acquiring different functions in the various points (worktop, strip underneath the base units, or as shelves fitted below and above the wall units.) This design concept also allows base and wall units of different colours to be combined, subdividing the kitchen into "graphic" blocks while retaining its modular structure.

HisbalitEl proyecto parte de un espacio diáfano con una geometría nítida y concisa, que se transforma en un espacio habitable mediante la compresión y expansión de unas bandas que recorren todo su perímetro. Dichos elementos dotan al mismo de tensión espacial, configurando así los ambientes necesarios para albergar una vivienda en su mínima expresión. El esquema es muy claro, "lleno" en el perímetro como espacio servidor y "vacio" en el centro, como espacio vividero que se nutre de los perimetrales. Cada pared tiene un objetivo y una función generando una estancia central única donde la vida se lleva a cabo. La superficie de cada una de ellas muestra salientes y entrantes proyectados como estancias de las diferentes escenas de uso cotidiano. En una panorámica de 360º de derecha a izquierda quedan de la siguiente manera: espacio de descanso, formado por una pared que une la zona para dormir y la zona de descanso; zona de baño, donde también destaca una imagen de un entorno urbano de la colección Identity de HISBALIT, la cual permite reproducir fotografías reales que aporta profundidad al espacio; zona de cocina y comedor, donde se encuentra todo lo necesario para su uso y por último una zona verde de plantas aromáticas que permite desconectar del día a día y disfrutar de una zona excepcional.
Los arquitectos perciben esta vivienda como un todo, un conjunto. El uso del espacio de una forma diferente crea un concepto único sin olvidar su practicidad y su confort, sin fronteras.
Gran parte del proyecto está revestido por mosaico de vidrio HISBALIT. La intención de ZOOCO ha sido crear un espacio singular e inigualable en el que el visitante de Casa Decor entre en él y se sienta inmerso gracias a los revestimientos, el toque de madera en el suelo y el efecto que produce un techo revestido de espejo, el cual provoca un efecto envolvente. El juego de colores y diferentes mosaicos aporta un punto de unión. El modelo Stone redondo, en blanco mate, cubre las paredes. En los salientes se pueden ver distintos tonos de verde de la colección Unicolor en formato hexagonal, los tonos más oscuros situados en la parte baja de la vivienda y los más claros hacia el techo, tiñen así las cuatro paredes y generan un efecto de color de doble degradado que crea una atmósfera cálida.

Dura Supreme CabinetryOne important element with any design project is the development of a "design path" (or "color path"), that creates a coherent, well-planned look for the entire space. Oftentimes this is called a "color board" and all the swatches, finishes and fabrics are laid out together to see the entire room (or entire home) and how all the design elements coordinate and work together.
In kitchen design, this includes wall paint colors, cabinetry finish colors, flooring, countertops, and tile along with appliance, plumbing, and hardware finishes. For the interior design with a room or entire home, it includes furnishings and other surfaces as well. The idea is to create a cohesive look for the entire space.
To create a color path for your home or remodeling project, begin with your neutral colors and then select the other colors for your space. The colors you select may be based on your existing furnishings, a favorite piece of art, or simply colors that resonate to you. In order to create a visually appealing space, let this color page guide your color selections going forward.
Neutral colors (gray, beige, taupe or white) will usually be the background palette with 1-3 other dominant colors layered.
For contemporary or transitional designs, oftentimes a sleek, neutral palette is selected and it's important for all colors to be consistent with this palette. For this soft contemporary kitchen, a neutral palette of gray wood-tone (Weathered "A" finish on Oak) with white-gray paint, stainless and black appliances were selected and then carefully blended throughout the home for a clean, sleek appearance.
Once the "color path" was selected, the cabinetry was specified in the appropriate colors and all of the surfaces, soft goods, plateware, and accent pieces were selected to coordinate.

KOPO, Cabinet d'habitat Cuisiniste/ DécorateurLe chef cuisinier Lars a choisi le domaine de Haute Roche pour y dresser ses tables et chambres d'hôtes, dans la tranquillité de la vallée de la Loire, à Oudon, proche de la ville de Nantes.
Les anciennes cuisine et salle à manger, désormais ne font qu'une, surplombant le domaine versant sud, et baigne de lumière. L'espace est idéal pour y marier la convivialité des repas pris en commun chez l'habitant et la technique d'un équipement de professionnel.
