Kitchen, Bath & Home - TexasThe pantry was custom built to fit the clients' needs with pull-out shelves to make accessing everything in the back easier. A socket was installed to create a coffee and smoothie station that can be hidden when not in use behind the pantry doors keeping the countertops cleared.
Storie CollectiveIn this Victorian home on Capitol Hill, the interior had been gut renovated by a developer to match a modern farmhouse aesthetic which did not reflect our client. Our scope included a complete overhaul of the primary bathroom and powder room, a heavy kitchen refresh, along with new hardware, doors, paint, lighting, furnishings and window treatments throughout the home. Our goal was to also elevate the home’s architectural details, including a new stair rail, back to what could have been original millwork while creating a feminine, sophisticated space for a family of 5 (plus one adorable furry friend).
By Darash - Kitchen Cabinets, Vanities & ClosetsA meeting... Of materials: stainless steel, glass, white Carrara marble, wood, black Marquinia stone. Of styles, Farmhouse Shaker style contemporary and classic yet gives of the warm feeling of a rustic vibe interior design, creating a third, which transcends time. Match of finishes: hammering, antique brass finish, trowel, natural finish, matte, shiny reflective glass. An encounter between optimal functionality and pure aesthetics, which coexist in perfect balance. Blue avio, a color blue kitchen, played down by the large contemporary island and Shaker Style Cabinets, which aesthetically create a clever play of depth. The workhorse is undoubtedly his island, a dialogue of styles between classic and contemporary, a combination of materials in which honey-colored wood meets Nero Marquinia stone in a brushed finish and marble. The visual contrast alone, but also the Italian excellence of the material quality, make it a true work of art.
Christine Donner Kitchen Design Inc.Looking into the U shape kitchen area, with tiled back wall, butternut floating shelves and brass library lamps. The base cabinets are BM Midnight. The countertop is honed Imperial Danby marble.
Bilotta Kitchen & HomeThis clean and classic Northern Westchester kitchen features a mix of colors and finishes. The perimeter of the kitchen including the desk area is painted in Benjamin Moore’s Nordic White with satin chrome hardware. The island features Benjamin Moore’s Blue Toile with satin brass hardware. The focal point of the space is the Cornu Fe range and custom hood in satin black with brass and chrome trim. Crisp white subway tile covers the backwall behind the cooking area and all the way up the sink wall to the ceiling. In place of wall cabinets, the client opted for thick white open shelves on either side of the window above the sink to keep the space more open and airier. Countertops are a mix of Neolith’s Estatuario on the island and Ash Grey marble on the perimeter. Hanging above the island are Circa Lighting’s the “Hicks Large Pendants” by designer Thomas O’Brien; above the dining table is Tom Dixon’s “Fat Pendant”.
Just off of the kitchen is a wet bar conveniently located next to the living area, perfect for entertaining guests. They opted for a contemporary look in the space. The cabinetry is Yosemite Bronzato laminate in a high gloss finish coupled with open glass shelves and a mirrored backsplash. The mirror and the abundance of windows makes the room appear larger than it is.
