This was a part of a project for an interior designer that I do work for. She had been hired to redesign and decorate the interior of her customer's home. I was brought in on the project to do a few select pieces. The cabinet is custom fit into a pass through from the dining room to the kitchen. The wine fridge is integrated into the buffet. The top is made from 1 1/2" thick solid Walnut. Coordinating open shelves were also added for additional storage and decor.

We were asked to create a bespoke handcrafted kitchen for a cottage. All carcasses were handmade and the Shaker door and drawer fronts were made from ash. These were handpainted to finish. We utilised all the space available, which included integrated appliances, corner units with high quality wirework carousels, soft close doors and drawers, with utensil holders. The kitchen was completed with stone floor tiles and a granite worktop.

The kitchen dining area was given a total revamp where the cabinets were repainted, with the lower ones in a dark blue and the top ones in 'beige' to match the wall and tile splashback colour. Splashes of mustard were used to give a pop of colour. The fireplace was tiled and used for wine storage and the lighting updated in antique brass fittings. The adjoining hall area was also updated and the existing cabinet modified and painted same blue as the lower kitchen ones for a cohesive look.

When they briefed us on this two-storey 85 m2 extension to their beautifully-proportioned Regency villa, our clients envisioned a clean, modern take on its traditional, heritage framework with an open, light-filled lounge/dining/kitchen plan topped by a new master bedroom.
Simply opening the front door of the Edwardian-style façade unveils a dramatic surprise: a traditional hallway freshened up by a little lick of paint leading to a sumptuous lounge and dining area enveloped in crisp white walls and floor-to-ceiling glazing that spans the rear and side façades and looks out to the sumptuous garden, its century-old weeping willow and oh-so-pretty Virginia Creepers. The result is an eclectic mix of old and new. All in all a vibrant home full of the owners personalities. Come on in!

Award winning, this new-build won Best Timber Frame and Best Interior 2012 and it's easy to see why.
A modern open plan interior with an abundance of glass, timber and metalwork, our clients chose the simple Baker & Baker ‘Shaker’ design for the kitchen cabinetry.
Dark grey paintwork and brushed steel fittings go together beautifully with the solid oak worktops and dark stone floor.
A long narrow island with breakfast bar runs parallel to the wall cabinets and a built in fridge freezer cupboard with steel clad doors adds to the overall contemporary feel
