The addition of new white crown molding adds a touch of elegance, seamlessly blending with the overall design. Custom upper cabinets with charming window doors add a touch of character, allowing you to showcase your favorite dishware or decorative items. Underneath the upper cabinets, LED strips provide soft and ambient lighting, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance.
The focal point of the kitchen is the stunning white ELKAY farmhouse sink with its charming apron front. Paired with a sleek silver faucet, it not only adds functionality but also serves as a striking centerpiece.
The backsplash features a captivating Herringbone Honed Marble Dolomite Mosaic pattern, adding a touch of sophistication and visual interest to the space. The countertops are adorned with quartz in a pristine white shade, elegantly veined with subtle grey tones. It offers a durable and stylish surface for all your culinary adventures.
A 36-inch range hood with a curved glass canopy completes the kitchen, effectively venting cooking fumes and adding a sleek and modern element to the design.
re-interiorsThe new design is much more personalised, has access to every inch of space, is contemporary and easy to maintain.
Painting the radiator the same colour as the units and walls is a great way of disguising it.
There is no shortage of storage space in these full height units and at this height, meeting the ceiling, there is no dust collecting.

Naked KitchensBold, bright and beautiful. Just three of the many words we could use to describe the insanely cool Redhill Kitchen.
The bespoke J-Groove cabinetry keeps this kitchen sleek and smooth, with light reflecting off the slab doors to keep the room open and spacious.
Oak accents throughout the room softens the bold blue cabinetry, and grey tiles create a beautiful contrast between the two blues in the the room.
Integrated appliances ensure that the burgundy Rangemaster is always the focus of the eye, and the reclaimed gym flooring makes the room so unique.

Thyme & Place Design LLCThe existing kitchen was in a word, "stuck" between the family room, mudroom and the rest of the house. The client has renovated most of the home but did not know what to do with the kitchen. The space was visually cut off from the family room, had underwhelming storage capabilities, and could not accommodate family gatherings at the table. Access to the recently redesigned backyard was down a step and through the mud room.
We began by relocating the access to the yard into the kitchen with a French door. The remaining space was converted into a walk-in pantry accessible from the kitchen. Next, we opened a window to the family room, so the children were visible from the kitchen side. The old peninsula plan was replaced with a beautiful blue painted island with seating for 4. The outdated appliances received a major upgrade with Sub Zero Wolf cooking and food preservation products.
The visual beauty of the vaulted ceiling is enhanced by long pendants and oversized crown molding. A hard-working wood tile floor grounds the blue and white colorway. The colors are repeated in a lovely blue and white screened marble tile. White porcelain subway tiles frame the feature. The biggest and possibly the most appreciated change to the space was when we opened the wall from the kitchen into the dining room to connect the disjointed spaces. Now the family has experienced a new appreciation for their home. Rooms which were previously storage areas and now integrated into the family lifestyle. The open space is so conducive to entertaining visitors frequently just "drop in”.
In the dining area, we designed custom cabinets complete with a window seat, the perfect spot for additional diners or a perch for the family cat. The tall cabinets store all the china and crystal once stored in a back closet. Now it is always ready to be used. The last repurposed space is now home to a refreshment center. Cocktails and coffee are easily stored and served convenient to the kitchen but out of the main cooking area.
How do they feel about their new space? It has changed the way they live and use their home. The remodel has created a new environment to live, work and play at home. They could not be happier.
Thyme & Place Design LLCThis small kitchen packs a powerful punch. By replacing an oversized sliding glass door with a 24" cantilever which created additional floor space. We tucked a large Reid Shaw farm sink with a wall mounted faucet into this recess. A 7' peninsula was added for storage, work counter and informal dining. A large oversized window floods the kitchen with light. The color of the Eucalyptus painted and glazed cabinets is reflected in both the Najerine stone counter tops and the glass mosaic backsplash tile from Oceanside Glass Tile, "Devotion" series. All dishware is stored in drawers and the large to the counter cabinet houses glassware, mugs and serving platters. Tray storage is located above the refrigerator. Bottles and large spices are located to the left of the range in a pull out cabinet. Pots and pans are located in large drawers to the left of the dishwasher. Pantry storage was created in a large closet to the left of the peninsula for oversized items as well as the microwave. Additional pantry storage for food is located to the right of the refrigerator in an alcove. Cooking ventilation is provided by a pull out hood so as not to distract from the lines of the kitchen.
Frome InteriorsThis bespoke family kitchen was part of the renovation of a period home in Frome. The ground floor is a half basement and struggled with dark rooms and a layout that did not function well for family life. New windows were added to the adjoining dining room and crisp white finishes and clever lighting have transformed the space. Bespoke cabinets maximised the limited head height and corner space. Designed in a classic shaker style and painted in Hopper by Little Greene with classic burnished brass ironmongery, it is a timeless design.

This unit, located in a 4-flat owned by TKS Owners Jeff and Susan Klimala, was remodeled as their personal pied-à-terre, and doubles as an Airbnb property when they are not using it. Jeff and Susan were drawn to the location of the building, a vibrant Chicago neighborhood, 4 blocks from Wrigley Field, as well as to the vintage charm of the 1890’s building. The entire 2 bed, 2 bath unit was renovated and furnished, including the kitchen, with a specific Parisian vibe in mind.
Although the location and vintage charm were all there, the building was not in ideal shape -- the mechanicals -- from HVAC, to electrical, plumbing, to needed structural updates, peeling plaster, out of level floors, the list was long. Susan and Jeff drew on their expertise to update the issues behind the walls while also preserving much of the original charm that attracted them to the building in the first place -- heart pine floors, vintage mouldings, pocket doors and transoms.
Because this unit was going to be primarily used as an Airbnb, the Klimalas wanted to make it beautiful, maintain the character of the building, while also specifying materials that would last and wouldn’t break the budget. Susan enjoyed the hunt of specifying these items and still coming up with a cohesive creative space that feels a bit French in flavor.
Parisian style décor is all about casual elegance and an eclectic mix of old and new. Susan had fun sourcing some more personal pieces of artwork for the space, creating a dramatic black, white and moody green color scheme for the kitchen and highlighting the living room with pieces to showcase the vintage fireplace and pocket doors.

Ray Munn KitchensWe had the privilege of transforming the kitchen space of a beautiful Grade 2 listed farmhouse located in the serene village of Great Bealings, Suffolk. The property, set within 2 acres of picturesque landscape, presented a unique canvas for our design team. Our objective was to harmonise the traditional charm of the farmhouse with contemporary design elements, achieving a timeless and modern look.
For this project, we selected the Davonport Shoreditch range. The kitchen cabinetry, adorned with cock-beading, was painted in 'Plaster Pink' by Farrow & Ball, providing a soft, warm hue that enhances the room's welcoming atmosphere.
The countertops were Cloudy Gris by Cosistone, which complements the cabinetry's gentle tones while offering durability and a luxurious finish.
The kitchen was equipped with state-of-the-art appliances to meet the modern homeowner's needs, including:
- 2 Siemens under-counter ovens for efficient cooking.
- A Capel 90cm full flex hob with a downdraught extractor, blending seamlessly into the design.
- Shaws Ribblesdale sink, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal.
- Liebherr Integrated tall fridge, ensuring ample storage with a sleek design.
- Capel full-height wine cabinet, a must-have for wine enthusiasts.
- An additional Liebherr under-counter fridge for extra convenience.
Beyond the main kitchen, we designed and installed a fully functional pantry, addressing storage needs and organising the space.
Our clients sought to create a space that respects the property's historical essence while infusing modern elements that reflect their style. The result is a pared-down traditional look with a contemporary twist, achieving a balanced and inviting kitchen space that serves as the heart of the home.

Ourso DesignsThis client’s house had great bones to work with, but also had a few things that made their kitchen less functional. Their main issue with the space was that their cooktop was located on the island, and since the island wasn’t very big, it limited the amount of usable counterspace. Also, they had a microwave oven stack that was housed in a massive brick enclosure that also took up a lot of valuable space. In our design, we decided to replace the cooktop and oven with a gas range and relocated it to the back wall on the L. We also move the refrigerator to the wall opposite of the sink to create the perfect working triangle. All of the cabinetry to the right of the range serves as a dry bar with lots of storage including nice display storage for wine. Originally the house had a butler’s pass between the dining room and kitchen. We decided to transform this space by closing it in on both sides and creating a nice walk-in pantry, something the kitchen did not have before! We extended their island and added space for seating on one side. The kitchen has a beautiful vaulted ceiling that we added a beam to across the center. For materials, we chose a white and grey palette with some blue and wood tones. The backsplash is a beautiful marble mosaic with blue and grey. The countertops are luna plena quartzite, and we incorporated a custom wood wrap around the hood to match the beams. We are thrilled with how we were able to help transform this kitchen into a beautiful functional space.
