INSPIRED KITCHEN DESIGNOne of the other design desires was to give the space a sleek, modern look by picking the right cabinet door styles from IKEA. “I definitely wanted this kitchen to have timeless style, be highly functional and require very little maintenance,” Todd says.
He ended up selecting brown VOXTORP and white RINGHULT cabinet fronts, and light gray BROKHULT drawer fronts to complement the walnut-style SEKTION cabinets.
“The VOXTORP was a brand-new front that had come out after working with IKD. There were no good examples of completed kitchens to look at since it was so new, but they turned out way better than I expected!” he says.
The cabinets are complemented by stainless steel GREVSTA toe kicks and light-colored quartz countertops, which were supplied from a vendor through the contractor.

One to One StudioMary’s floor-through apartment was truly enchanting . . . except for the tiny kitchen she’d inherited. It lacked a dishwasher, counter space or any real storage, items that have all been addressed in the makeover. Now the kitchen is as cheerful and bright as the rest of the home.

Chester County Kitchen & Bath The need for a kitchen better suited to entertaining was the driving force behind the start of this great kitchen remodel. The original kitchen and adjacent living area were redesigned to encompass a new larger kitchen with semiformal eating area along with a wet bar and great cozy sitting room. The clients Christine and Steve along with the interior designer Sharon Ryan made great choices in products and finishes to give these new spaces a fresh new look that blended seamlessly with the rest of the home. The kitchen designer John Noland used Fieldstone Cabinetry in the LaGrange door style ( Beaded inset ). The perimeter kitchen cabinetry is finished in Dove paint with a latte glaze complimented by the island and bar cabinetry in Cherry wood with Hazelnut Stain. The expansive new kitchen countertops are Taj Mahal Quartzite with a sleek apron front sink from Kohler. The bar top granite is Peacock with a stainless steel undermount bar sink. Everything from new random width hardwood flooring, window replacement, cabinetry and finishes were done by CCKAB’s lead contractor Don Pitt and assistant Dan. Everyone involved in this great kitchen project did an awesome job and what a result.
Studio DearbornA young family moving from NYC to their first home in Westchester County found this delightful colonial in Larchmont New York. Studio Dearborn teamed up with Classic Construction Group to redesign space. They stole four feet from the adjacent family room to accommodate a new, classic white kitchen open to the family room. Kitchen design and custom cabinetry by Studio Dearborn. The inset cabinetry in Benjamin Moore White Heron is crafted from solid maple. The island is crafted from Rift sawn oak in a custom charcoal stain. White Macauba countertops give a soft earthy ambiance to the room. Cherner style stools are walnut veneer.

Chi Renovation & DesignA modern kitchen with a traditional feel, this kitchen remodel was a complete gut rehab with a new window, electrical, plumbing, drywall, along with all the finishes.
The door style cabinets are a lovely gray color from J&K painting, which stands out against the crisp white quartz counters and subway tile backsplash. The backsplash contains a penny accent, in a soft white color with a small delicate circular design, adding a warm tone to the bright whites. The kitchen also includes pendant lighting and dark wood plank tile flooring, giving the space a timeless finish.
This kitchen also includes a row of directional spotlights, under cabinet LED lighting, a hidden microwave, new window above sink, and an electrical outlet in the top drawer next to the fridge for phones and other electronics.

DANIELLE Interior Design & DecorThis gray and white family kitchen has touches of gold and warm accents. The Diamond Cabinets that were purchased from Lowes are a warm grey and are accented with champagne gold Atlas cabinet hardware. The Taj Mahal quartzite countertops have a nice cream tone with veins of gold and gray. The mother or pearl diamond mosaic tile backsplash by Jeffery Court adds a little sparkle to the small kitchen layout. The island houses the glass cook top with a stainless steel hood above the island. The white appliances are not the typical thing you see in kitchens these days but works beautifully. This family friendly casual kitchen brings smiles.
