Nouvelle Kitchens & BathroomsThe client's love of sky blue was stunningly incorporated into the design of both their kitchen and bathroom. In the kitchen, the wide use of stainless steel and white keep the mood uplifted and makes for a very practical surface. The glass cabinets mimic clouds, and there is ample lighting to further enhance the effect in this almost windowless kitchen. Triple ovens, built-in sink with Zip tap, integrated fridge and dishwasher, walk-in pantry and clever breakfast bar area, are just some of the features in this kitchen.
The bathroom's crisp, blue and white colour scheme is refreshingly lovely and practical. The use of contrasting timber warms the space and echoes the burnished brown tones in the mosaics. The freestanding bath creates a beautiful center piece and the frameless shower whilst spacious, does not crowd the room. Well-chosen tapware and fittings make for a very personlised look.

WoodwaysThis Woodways sleek contemporary kitchen is designed using a crystal material to add shine and reflectance to a modern style. All white cabinetry with a light blue backsplash emphasize this design style, along with the choice of flat panel doors. Top hinge upper cabinets allow for easier access to high storage. Elements of stainless steel are included in the hardware, appliances, and cabinet door frames to compliment the shine and crispness of the kitchen.
ModlifeHomeThe client brought me in to address an issue with the tiles in the kitchen. The blue tiles shown on the wall were also on the floor which were popping out and causing problems to step on. The challenge was to maintain the Di Giulio kitchen and not rip it off the walls or build a toe kick which would hide the elevated cabinets. The solution was to choose a gray slate porcelain tile called, Stainless Steel by Daltide and cut a border line to frame the floor under the islands. As a result the gray toned done the heavy swimming-pool blue tile that overwhelmed the kitchen.
