King Visual Design Inc.This galley kitchen was remodeled using grey wood finish cabinets with gloss finish. Porcelanosa mirror and porcelain micro brick mosaic is used on the back splash areas. A new curved glass and stainless steel ventilatin hood was added, smooth top electric range and new ovens, microwave and dishwasher replaced the original equipment. A zero radius large sink with single handle faucet and pull out also helped to make the original galley kitchen more user friendly. Blizzard White Caesarstone quartz counter tops were installed to offset the grey cabinets and engineered ministrip grey wood flooring. A pair of exposed rail, rolling turquoise doors with frosted glass lites close off the kitchen area when entertaining.

The lower level galley kitchen offers tons of hidden storage built under the stairs. Modern grey cabinetry and open shelving are accented by ample recessed and spot lights. The countertop and white subway tiles wrap around into the living area, creating multi-function seating. USB outlets allow homeowners and guest to charge their smart devices easily.
The floors look like a greyed rustic wood, but are actually luxury vinyl tiles...perfect for the in-and-out traffic from water related activities.
CW Design, LLCThis elegant 1902 Georgian Revival was begging for a total overhaul, and the kitchen was no exception. The new kitchen is a contemporary take on a timeless aesthetic, drawing inspiration from classic motifs and natural materials. It feels original to the house but has contemporary amenities. A large center island forms the centerpiece of the kitchen. The double-thick Carrara marble slab evokes classic styling and gives the kitchen a sense of permanence. A decorative fireplace mantle was moved to the living room to make space for a cooking center with an oversized range and custom hood, which has a circular motif that carries throughout the house’s décor. It is a kitchen that’s meant to be lived in and not just admired, for a family to be together and to entertain. Higham FurnitureThis inset Shaker kitchen has a very calming colour scheme, with the kitchen cabinetry painted in Slaked Lime Deep by Little Greene and the island in Pompeian Ash. The wooden floor compliments the colours beautifully as do the other touches in the room. The brass inset handles tie in with other small brass details, such as in the bar stools and lampshade.
Higham FurnitureOur client chose a Lacanche Cluny 100 range for their traditional kitchen in Muswell Hill. The range becomes a feature in the kitchen as the colour is a contrast to the Shaker cupboards surrounding it. The cabinets are painted in Little Greene's 'Welcome Dark'. Our client chose to have the worktop material SG Carrara quartz run up to the extractor.

Dream Kitchens, Inc.In this contemporary kitchen we combined cabinets in two finishes: glossy light grey acrylic and textured melamine with vertical wood grain.
The open concept kitchen has a long island with a raised area that hides the 5' Galley sink. The casual island seating is conveniently located close to the refrigerator and the drawer style microwave hidden in the island. The two ovens are tucked under the counter on the two sides of the cook top, making this kitchen layout very practical for kosher cooking. For under cabinetry lights and accents we used LED strip lights and LED puck lights.

Il progetto è stato una straordinaria occasione di recupero di un’architettura minore, volto a valorizzare gli elementi costitutivi originari. Le esigenze della committenza erano quelle di ricavare un ambiente in grado di unire sapore e dettagli ricchi di storia con materiali e soluzioni contemporanee, il tutto in uno spazio funzionale capace di accogliere fino a sei ospiti.
Edmond Kitchen & Bath LLCThis creative transitional space was transformed from a very dated layout that did not function well for our homeowners - who enjoy cooking for both their family and friends. They found themselves cooking on a 30" by 36" tiny island in an area that had much more potential. A completely new floor plan was in order. An unnecessary hallway was removed to create additional space and a new traffic pattern. New doorways were created for access from the garage and to the laundry. Just a couple of highlights in this all Thermador appliance professional kitchen are the 10 ft island with two dishwashers (also note the heated tile area on the functional side of the island), double floor to ceiling pull-out pantries flanking the refrigerator, stylish soffited area at the range complete with burnished steel, niches and shelving for storage. Stephen GraverOur clients had inherited a dated, dark and cluttered kitchen that was in need of modernisation. With an open mind and a blank canvas, we were able to achieve this Scandinavian inspired masterpiece.
A light cobalt blue features on the island unit and tall doors, whilst the white walls and ceiling give an exceptionally airy feel without being too clinical, in part thanks to the exposed timber lintels and roof trusses.
Having been instructed to renovate the dining area and living room too, we've been able to create a place of rest and relaxation, turning old country clutter into new Scandinavian simplicity.

Flavin ArchitectsMid-Century Remodel on Tabor Hill
This sensitively sited house was designed by Robert Coolidge, a renowned architect and grandson of President Calvin Coolidge. The house features a symmetrical gable roof and beautiful floor to ceiling glass facing due south, smartly oriented for passive solar heating. Situated on a steep lot, the house is primarily a single story that steps down to a family room. This lower level opens to a New England exterior. Our goals for this project were to maintain the integrity of the original design while creating more modern spaces. Our design team worked to envision what Coolidge himself might have designed if he'd had access to modern materials and fixtures.
With the aim of creating a signature space that ties together the living, dining, and kitchen areas, we designed a variation on the 1950's "floating kitchen." In this inviting assembly, the kitchen is located away from exterior walls, which allows views from the floor-to-ceiling glass to remain uninterrupted by cabinetry.
We updated rooms throughout the house; installing modern features that pay homage to the fine, sleek lines of the original design. Finally, we opened the family room to a terrace featuring a fire pit. Since a hallmark of our design is the diminishment of the hard line between interior and exterior, we were especially pleased for the opportunity to update this classic work.
Sterling Homes & Construction LLCWe just completed this beautiful kitchen remodel in Tolleson, Arizona. It has been complete with brand new flooring, cabinets, countertops, and appliances. We added more cabinet space with the extended pantry as well as cabinets underneath the extended bar. We completed the bar with a beautiful waterfall countertop and implemented a pop-up outlet that also supports wireless charging.
