SKP DesignSKP Design has completed a frame up renovation of a 1956 Spartan Imperial Mansion. We combined historic elements, modern elements and industrial touches to reimagine this vintage camper which is now the showroom for our new line of business called Ready To Roll.

You'll see a spectrum of materials, from high end Lumicor translucent door panels to curtains from Walmart. We invested in commercial LVT wood plank flooring which needs to perform and last 20+ years but saved on decor items that we might want to change in a few years. Other materials include a corrugated galvanized ceiling, stained wall paneling, and a contemporary spacious IKEA kitchen. Vintage finds include an orange chenille bedspread from the Netherlands, an antique typewriter cart from Katydid's in South Haven, a 1950's Westinghouse refrigerator and the original Spartan serial number tag displayed on the wall inside.

colour + shapeGood design has both form and function. The kitchen encourages the display of the everyday and shows that ordinary items can serve as the best decoration. A custom-made pegboard keeps utensils within handy reach whilst providing a vivid wall of colour, and a rescued 1960s wall unit brings life to an understated backdrop of elegant grey tones. Oak door pulls add a bespoke feel to the simple white cupboards, with the retro cooker providing extra work space and a pop of jalapeno red.

Vujovich Design Build, Inc.This Period kitchen renovation in a turn-of-the-century South Minneapolis home was accomplished within the existing structure’s footprint. The homeowner, a famous fictional writer with a taste for the eclectic, had purchased a red French Volnay range and wanted to create a stylish yet functional kitchen to surround it.
ABC Design ConceptsThis MCM kitchen replaced a dated 1980's version. Navy base cabinets w/dark stained uppers, brass hardware, blue & gold veined quartz tops & dimensional tile really set this kitchen apart. Extra touches of a navy sink, angled wine rack and asymmetrical floating shelves give it the piece de resistance!

Dan Davis DesignAn open Mid-Century Modern inspired kitchen with ceiling details and lots of natural light. White upper cabinets and grey lower cabinets keep the space light. An orange Stove and orange counter stools pop against the neutral background. The pendant lights feel like an art installation, and the ceiling design adds drama without feeling heavy.
nOtch lifestyle + design pte ltd (singapore)Zen’s minimalism is often misconstrued in Singapore as “lesser works involved”. In fact, the key to Zen is to ensure sufficient and strategically placed storage space for owners, while maximising the feel of spaciousness. This ensures that the entire space will not be clouded by clutter. For this project, nOtch kept the key Zen elements of balance, harmony and relaxation, while incorporating fengshui elements, in a modern finishing. A key fengshui element is the flowing stream ceiling design, which directs all auspicious Qi from the main entrance into the heart of the home, and gathering them in the ponds. This project was selected by myPaper生活 》家居to be a half-paged feature on their weekly interior design advise column.

Helios Design GroupWe combined two rooms to create this cook's kitchen, with a new opening to the side hall flanked by cookbook and wine storage. Hand-painted tiles dot the backsplash.
Ballack Design + Architecture, LLCA rustic cabin set on a 5.9 acre wooded property on Little Boy Lake in Longville, MN, the design takes advantage of its secluded setting and stunning lake views. Covered porches on the forest-side and lake-side offer protection from the elements while allowing one to enjoy the fresh open air and unobstructed views. Once inside, one is greeted by a series of custom closet and bench built-ins hidden behind a pair of sliding wood barn doors. Ahead is a dramatic open great room with vaulted ceilings exposing the wood trusses and large circular chandeliers. Anchoring the space is a natural river-rock stone fireplace with windows on all sides capturing views of the forest and lake. A spacious kitchen with custom hickory cabinetry and cobalt blue appliances opens up the the great room creating a warm and inviting setting. The unassuming exterior is adorned in circle sawn cedar siding with red windows. The inside surfaces are clad in circle sawn wood boards adding to the rustic feel of the cabin.
