Reborn Cabinets Inc.“We want to redo our cabinets…but my kitchen is so small!” We hear this a lot here at Reborn Cabinets. You might be surprised how many people put off refreshing their kitchen simply because homeowners can’t see beyond their own square footage. Not all of us can live in a big, sprawling ranch house, but that doesn’t mean that a small kitchen can’t be polished into a real gem! This project is a great example of how dramatic the difference can be when we rethink our space—even just a little! By removing hanging cabinets, this kitchen opened-up very nicely. The light from the preexisting French doors could flow wonderfully into the adjacent family room. The finishing touches were made by transforming a very small “breakfast nook” into a clean and useful storage space.
Chestnut Grove Design StudioA cozy kitchen island provides extra food prep space, or a sunlit spot to enjoy a morning coffee. Rustic beadboard panels surround the island, meshing it with the lower cabinetry featured throughout the kitchen. The floors are an easy to clean wood style ceramic tile. The tile is a great choice for clients who want a rustic or classic floor style, without using real hardwood.

3 Lights DesignThe view from the dining room. We looked at several options to make this relatively tight space both functional and spacious. The wife, who is a chef and meticulously organized, had this to say about 3 Lights Design's attention to detail, "I'm so impressed how you heard all the little silly things I was saying and got it into a picture!!!" In this remodel, the owners added onto the back of the house, doubling their kitchen size and allowing for a walk-in pantry with an integrated cabinet door and large built-in hutch. Traditional style cabinets are finished in a soft creme finish with illuminated glass cabinets above. The surrounding walls include integrated dishwasher with matching soft close trash unit. Island is finished in our exclusive cappuccino hand-rubbed finish.

Studio DearbornA spacious colonial in the heart of the waterfront community of Greenhaven still had its original 1950s kitchen. A renovation without an addition added space by reconfiguring, and the wall between kitchen and family room was removed to create open flow.
