Pauline Ribbans Design - Kitchen DesignerTwo species of timber were used to make the solid timber doors. The end cabinets to the island bench have an insert of meat safe mesh to give a nod to the past. Brown stone benches compliment the warm tones of the timber with red being used to give a colour pop and compliment the red freestanding oven. The dishwasher has been raised to increase the accessibility into it. Visually this works better with a fully integrated model. The Laundry was made into a hidden European style.

Barbara Allen Kitchen Designs An older style grand home we designed the chimney and mantle to set the freestanding cooker into the effects of a chimney. Combined into the chimney breast were slide out spice trays. With 3m ceiling the use of cap moulding to the high cabinets gave a finishing line to the cabinet work before the large cornice was installed. Black granite was used to the bench tops giving light reflection to the open plan space.
Chalkhouse KitchensThe owners opened up two smaller rooms to create a beautifully spacious kitchen and family area. A feature island painted in soft Farrow and Ball Pigeon to match the kitchen provides plenty of workspace along with a casual seating area. A soft neutral F&B Shaded White was used on the matching dresser and tall bank of units to compliment the kitchen but add interest and some contrast. A matching window seat and bespoke oak table pick up the tones and creates a comfortable seating area for family meals. A full size larder gives ample storage and with the matching fridge and freezer either side keeps all the food neatly in one area.photos by felix page

Spin DesignThe focal point of this kitchen was to be the printed glass splashback. We did however not want the kitchen to be clinically white, hence we introduced timber display shelves to add warmth and create interest. The grains in the timber work so well with the white kitchen cabinetry and create a wonderful and soft balance.
Having an integrated dishwasher allowed the kitchen to feel larger without being broken up by appliances.
