Leanne Michael L U X E lifestyle designCompletely renovated gourmet kitchen and butters pantry in Rancho Santa Fe fit with all custom quarter-sawn white oak cabinetry designed with the lines of antique furniture as the inspiration paired with the modernism of matte black forged iron cabinetry and iron lattice grate features, sexy ribbed finial one-of-a-kind legs for the island, Calacata Michaelangelo marble on all surfaces including backsplashes, sink front and pair of drawer fronts flanking the Wolf cooktop. In addition to the cabinetry, the round custom butcher block cabinet, quilted millwork and hand forged ironworks, the brass cabinetry hardware pulls and knobs, swivel barstools, both iron pendants with black linen fabric lined in gold silk shades over the island and the three iron and wood light sconces placed high above the sink window were also designed and made in my custom work rooms south of the border which allowed for us to create and exceptional one-of-a-kind design AND high-end quality product for our client at a fraction of the cost in comparison as to if this design had been produced in Southern California.

ArsightExperience the fusion of luxury and function in this kitchen by Arsight, located in Tribeca, New York. At its heart lies a marble island, artfully illuminated by glass pendant lights, emanating an inviting warmth in the airy space. Custom shelving and sophisticated millwork blend seamlessly with the well-appointed woodwork, adding to the luxury of the wooden kitchen. The space is further accented by thoughtful interior styling with accessories, while the room's meticulous plasterwork elevates the overall aesthetic. It's not just a kitchen—it's a culinary sanctuary brimming with subtle opulence.
Metropolitan Architecture StudioThis project involved the extensive renovation of a kitchen and two bathrooms as well a general renovation throughout an old villa. The existing kitchen was removed to allow for a new kitchen layout with high-quality finishes and details. This included the use of natural stone, black slate for the bench tops and green marble for the splash backs. American oak joinery panels were stained black on one wall and contrasted with a more naturally finished oak for cupboards and open shelving on the adjacent wall.
The existing bathrooms were upgraded with new fittings, stone tiles and black oak vanities and wall panels. A cupboard laundry was relined with black oak wall panels and doors, and the client finished these off nicely with brass hardware from Buster and Punch. An extensive bathroom renovation completely transforming the old bathrooms to new.
Throughout the renovation process we worked with the old villa to avoid making any dramatic structural changes. We also worked closely with the client, Natalie Moinfar, on all finishes and fittings. This collaboration was an easy fit with Natalie’s design background and helped to maintain a high level of quality throughout the project.
