Kitchen Design ConceptsBefore we remodeled this space, the kitchen cabinetry had a deep-dark stain, standard builder finishes, and could use a little makeover. Overall, the space lacked excitement, finesse, and good layout. So, in order to maximize the space to its full potential, we incorporated a new kitchen island which would give the space more storage, counter space, and we could include a wine unit! Win-win! Plus, the existing cabinetry on the perimeter was in great condition, so we could refinish those and have a little more fun with the other finishes of the space. Want to see what we did? Cabinetry
As mentioned above, the cabinetry on the perimeter was refinished with white paint. The new island we installed cabinetry from WWWoods Shiloh, with a Heritage door style, and a finish of Arctic paint.
Countertops
The countertops feature a beautiful 3 cm Caesarstone Quartz in Symphony Grey. We also incorporated a waterfall on the edge, adding that extra element of design.
Backsplash
From the Glazzio Gemstone Series, we installed a Glacier Onyx 3” x 12” as the main backsplash tile and on the backside of the island. As a picture frame over the sink, we installed a Daltile Contempo White Polished marble pencil rail, with a Daltile Carrara White 1”x random marble Mosaic inside the frame.
Fixtures
From Blanco we have installed a Quatrus R0 Super Single Bowl sink, and a BLANCOCULINA semiprofessional kitchen faucet in satin nickel. The hardware cabinetry is the It Pull in Modern Bronze from Atlas.
Flooring
The new flooring is a hardwood oak, that’s been sanded and finished.
The Renowned GroupFor the backsplash we used a MSI Surfaces’ Subway Gray Glossy Inverted Ceramic Beveled Tile. The foggy gray tone that is accentuated by the unique indentation in the tile. The owners choose these tiles for classic and timeless backdrop in their kitchen.
Our designer helped the owner pick Calacatta Vicenza Quartz countertops for a realistic look of fine natural marble in easy care and maintenance free quartz. This elegant white quartz with its subtle gray veins was ideal for their county kitchen style
The kitchen hardwood flooring was sanded and refinished. The island and Kitchen cabinets were designed, built, and installed by renowned Cabinetry. The windows are new replacement windows from Milgard windows.
Broswick Builders LtdWhile the traditional bones of the house were maintained the kitchen provides a sleek and modern contrast with Carrara marble tiling and benchtops with a striking black corten steel rangehood and floating wire mesh glass shelves.

Studio Black InteriorsThe interior design aesthetic for this kitchen was sleek and modern. A strong palette of black, charcoal and white. Sleek concrete Caesarstone bench tops, recycled timber island bar back. VJ cladding and a porcelain sheet splash back. Black sink and tap wear. Built by Robert Paragalli, R.E.P Building. Distinctive KitchensBy incorporating smaller appliances and custom-built pieces, the space feels larger, everything fits and the newly imagined spaces feel airy and light. We installed a Lacanche Cormatin and accented the black of the range with a slab of absolutely stunning Statuario marble with dramatic gray and black veining. Our built-in 24" fridge allows the working side of the kitchen to function as if it's twice as large.

Premier KitchensAs the residence’s original kitchen was becoming dilapidated, the homeowners decided to knock it down and place it in a different part of the house prior to designing and building the gorgeous kitchen pictured. The homeowners love to entertain, so they requested the kitchen be the centrepiece of the entertaining area at the rear of the house.
Large sliding doors were installed to allow the space to extend seamlessly out to the patio, garden, barbecue and pool at the rear of the home, forming one large entertaining area. Given the space’s importance within the home, it had to be aesthetically pleasing. With this in mind, gorgeous Ross Gardam pendants were selected to add an element of luxe to the space.
Byron Blackbutt veneer, polyurethane in Domino and gorgeous quartz were chosen as the space’s main materials to add warmth to what is predominantly a very modern home.
