emma delonMaximizing the functionality of this space, and coordinating the new kitchen with the beautiful remodel completed previously by the client were the two most important aspects of this project. The existing spaces are elegantly decorated with an open plan, dark hardwood floors, and natural stone accents. The new, lighter, more open kitchen flows beautifully into the client’s existing dining room space. Satin nickel hardware blends with the stainless steel appliances and matches the satin nickel details throughout the home. The fully integrated refrigerator next to the narrow pull-out pantry cabinet, take up less visual weight than a traditional stainless steel appliance and the two combine to provide fantastic storage. The glass cabinet doors and decorative lighting beautifully highlight the client’s glassware and dishes. Finished with white subway tile, Dreamy Marfil quartz countertops, and a warm natural wood blind; the space warm, inviting, elegant, and extremely functional.

Classic Home ImprovementsThis large kitchen remodel expansion included removing a wall to create a larger space and added vaulted ceiling to make this room even more spacious. This kitchen was once an enclosed u-shape kitchen and now with the added space a large island was added and a wall of cabinets for additional space. Sheila Rich Interiors, LLCWe expanded a formerly dark, small, outdated kitchen and made it open, bright and airy. The glass doors and open plate rack of the kitchen cabinets add depth, color and geometry to the room. The door knobs and cabinet hardware are round simple forms, a detail that echoes the round table and art form shapes on the walls.

The apron farmhouse sink is the centerpiece of the galley juxtaposed with a contemporary pull-out faucet. By applying a mirror on the door it gives the impression that it leads to a Dining Room. The wide plank flooring in a walnut stain adds texture and richness to this space.
