Davies and FosterHandmade classic shaker kitchen with island, designed to be the heart of the home.
Efficiently designed with all the modern kitchen alliances including integrated fridge, freezer, washing machine, sink, tap, hob, extractor, oven, pull out spice rack, set of drawers, floating shelves and storage space.
The internals were made from ash, the worktops and floating shelves were made from Walnut. Complementing these natural tones, the rest of the Kitchen is spray finished in Farrow and Ball '34 Calke green' and '81 Breakfast room' (Island) with a 10% sheen.
All carefully designed, made and fitted by Davies and Foster.
Silent Rivers Design+BuildWith lots of floor space but very little in the way of wall space, this huge Island of custom cabinetry makes up for some much-needed storage and counter space. The Island is finished off with a walnut top. The walnut was milled from trees the client had on their own property and here is used as a gorgeous butcher block top.
Makings of Fine Kitchens & BathroomsThis impressive kitchen has smooth sleek cupboards with a jaw dropping back lit 100mm thick Quartzite Rose island bench great for entertaining and the light can be adjusted and Caesarstone Snow bench on cooktop side with lots of natural light coming into the room.
This family kitchen features European appliances and ample storage in the kitchen with a separate butler's pantry with ample shelving and storage.
Finesse Design RemodelingThis award-winning whole house renovation of a circa 1875 single family home in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington DC provides the client with an open and more functional layout without requiring an addition. After major structural repairs and creating one uniform floor level and ceiling height, we were able to make a truly open concept main living level, achieving the main goal of the client. The large kitchen was designed for two busy home cooks who like to entertain, complete with a built-in mud bench. The water heater and air handler are hidden inside full height cabinetry. A new gas fireplace clad with reclaimed vintage bricks graces the dining room. A new hand-built staircase harkens to the home's historic past. The laundry was relocated to the second floor vestibule. The three upstairs bathrooms were fully updated as well. Final touches include new hardwood floor and color scheme throughout the home.
McCabe By Design LLCThe kitchen island is comprised of pull-out trash & recycling, cookbook shelves, wine storage, seating and a microwave oven niche.
Bunn feet give the island a furniture look.
Bennett Design Co.This old home is in a trendy part of town and needed a kitchen to match its stylish owners and surrounding. For this space, we opted to focus on materials and finishes as the “look at me” items such as the custom vent hood surround, the island countertop, and the bead board ceiling. Mixing textures and colors also helps add dimension making it feel like it’s both “new” and true to the era of the home.
