UserThe distressed green island creates a focal point at the center of this traditional kitchen. Topped with Ubatuba granite, the island is home to three metal barstools painted ivory with sage green chenille seats. Visual Comfort globe pendants, in a mix of metals, marry the island’s antique brass bin pulls to the pewter hardware of the perimeter cabinetry. Breaking up the cream perimeter cabinets are large windows dressed with woven wood blinds. Walker Zanger glass tiles in blues, greens and tans clad the backsplash, which wraps the kitchen along with honed black granite countertops.
Kitchen & Bath GalleryIn this new vacation home in Orleans, MA, the classic Cape Cod look is achieved by using the mix of blues and whites. This spacious kitchen features Fieldstone cabinetry in Aegean Mist and a classic apron front sink with Kohler faucet. Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs, Inc.This was a full gut an renovation. The existing kitchen had very dated cabinets and didn't function well for the clients. A previous desk area was turned into hidden cabinetry to house the microwave and larger appliances and to keep the countertops clutter free. The original pendants were about 4" wide and were inappropriate for the large island. They were replaced with larger, brighter and more sophisticated pendants. The use of panel ready appliances with large matte black hardware made gave this a clean and sophisticated look. Mosaic tile was installed from the countertop to the ceiling and wall sconces were installed over the kitchen window. A different tile was used in the bar area which has a beverage refrigerator and an ice machine and floating shelves. The cabinetry in this area also includes a pullout drawer for dog food.

Pike PropertiesAhhhhh a 48" Thermador Pro Grand Dual Fuel Range with 6 burners and a griddle top......but wait....where is the range hood?? No need to fear, Zephyr is here!!
Placing the range in front of a window was a unique and very nice setup, however that meant that there is no way to have a traditional range hood like most people are used to seeing. The solution is a flush mount range hood, the Zephyr Lux ( https://zephyronline.com/product/lux-island-range-hood/). It functions just as any range hood would and is wirelessly controlled with a remote control. It even features an LED light to illuminate your cooktop. Having a range in front of a window is possible, and all of us at Pike think it looks amazing! As much as range hood can add unique style to a kitchen, it is hard to beat the clean lines seen here, and abundant natural light that was allowed to enter into the space as a result of this design.

Céline Marie GESSIERCette cuisine datée avec ses meubles des années 80 méritait un réel coup de jeune. Elle a donc subi une réelle transformation à peu de frais.
Le plan de travail, la vasque, les poignées de porte et la crédence ont été changés.
Le plafond a été entièrement refait.
Le propriétaire voulait conserver son organisation spatiale face à la fenêtre.
