Synergy Design & ConstructionThe kitchen layout was reconfigured once the sunroom opening was widened. The range was given a place of special significance, and the sink in the island creates a compact work circle.
Anne Grice InteriorsWarm, natural materials were combined with simple elements to create sophisticated details for a contemporary mountain feel. Painted and glazed cabinets tie the kitchen in with the custom paneling in the dining room. River green countertops add warmth and color to this cherry kitchen. Floors are walnut.
Designer's Edge Kitchen & BathThis home in the Portland hills was stuck in the 70's with cedar paneling and almond laminate cabinets with oak details. (See Before photos) The space had wonderful potential with a high vaulted ceiling that was covered by a low ceiling in the kitchen and dining room. Walls closed in the kitchen. The remodel began with removal of the ceiling and the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. Hardwood flooring was extended into the kitchen. Shaker cabinets with contemporary hardware, modern pendants and clean-lined backsplash tile make this kitchen fit the transitional style the owners wanted. Now, the light and backdrop of beautiful trees are enjoyed from every room.
Creative Design Construction, Inc.The existing 3000 square foot colonial home was expanded to more than double its original size.
The end result was an open floor plan with high ceilings, perfect for entertaining, bathroom for every bedroom, closet space, mudroom, and unique details ~ all of which were high priorities for the homeowner.

Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co.Bay Area Custom Cabinetry: wine bar sideboard in family room connects to galley kitchen. This custom cabinetry built-in has two wind refrigerators installed side-by-side, one having a hinged door on the right side and the other on the left. The countertop is made of seafoam green granite and the backsplash is natural slate. These custom cabinets were made in our own award-winning artisanal cabinet studio.

Gilmans Kitchens and BathsThis kitchen was designed to function around a large family. The owners spend their weekend prepping large meals with extended family, so we gave them as much countertop space to prep and cook as we could. Tall cabinets, a secondary banks of drawers, and a bar area, were placed to the connecting space from the kitchen to the dining room for additional storage. Finally, a light wood and selective accents were chosen to give the space a light and airy feel.
