TruKitchensIn this organic modern kitchen, Nut Brown walnut cabinets in a custom paneled door style from Grabill Cabinets show off the beauty of natural wood. The large format porcelain tile with prominent black veining used for the backsplash and range hood lend contrast and an organic silhouette. White Dove perimeter and upper cabinetry from Grabill Cabinets, along with white countertops and white pendant lighting, keep the color palette fresh and airy. Ridgecrest DesignsSituated at the top of the Eugene O'Neill National Historic Park in Danville, this mid-century modern hilltop home had great architectural features, but needed a kitchen update that spoke to the design style of the rest of the house. We would have to say this project was one of our most challenging when it came to blending the mid-century style of the house with a more eclectic and modern look that the clients were drawn to. But who doesn't love a good challenge? We removed the builder-grade cabinetry put in by a previous owner and took down a wall to open up the kitchen to the rest of the great room. The kitchen features a custom designed hood as well as custom cabinetry with an intricate beaded details that sets it apart from all of our other cabinetry designs. The pop of blue paired with the dark walnut creates an eye catching contrast. Ridgecrest also designed and fabricated solid steel wall cabinetry to store countertop appliances and display dishes and glasses. The copper accents on the range and faucets bring the design full circle and finish this gorgeous one-of-a-kind-kitchen off nicely.
Vision DesignA vaulted ceiling great room with top end appliances, clean mid century modern lines and great access to the back yard.
Treefrog DesignThe simple Navy cabinets, pendant glass lights, and playful, scallop-patterned backsplash engage the senses by reflecting the blues of the nearby water, while the wall of white subway tile delineates the kitchen from the rest of the open area. This has the effect of drawing the eye up to the vaulted ceiling, which complements the house’s architecture instead of fighting it.
The once-dingy space is now alive with light and color, adding an exciting new dimension to this waterside home.

Atelier 216 is a five bedroom, four and a half bath home complete with an eco-smart saline swimming pool, pool house, two car garage/carport, and smart home technology. Featuring 2,500 square feet of decking and 16 foot vaulted ceilings with salvaged pine barn beams.
Velin HomesDesigned by Pico Studios, this home in the St. Andrews neighbourhood of Calgary is a wonderful example of a modern Scandinavian farmhouse.

Sarah used our Quarter Sawn Mahogany Natural Wood Slab in her kitchen redesign using the #sektion system, pairing it with neutral tones with @cletile tile and @caesarstoneus countertops to accentuate the wood grain of the #Mahogany. The kitchen feels big and airy, with great natural light from the #kitchen window, and extra seating around the waterfall island. If you look closely, you’ll see some additional custom work we did at her request, as Sarah came to us with some inspiration for a unique touch on the outer side of the island. We created wood slats from Mahogany and mounted them to custom panels, which gave her an easier installation and an awesome finish!
Looking even further through the room, you’ll see our custom floating shelves to match the Mahogany faces, brass hardware from @cb2 and @cedarandmoss fixtures, and unique pendant lighting from @virginiasin__ to finish it off. Awesome work Sarah, thanks for sharing with us!
