AHB General ContractorsThis kitchen is relatively small -- the challenge was incorporate all the appliances that the homeowner requested. The range was moved from the corner so as to accommodate a 36" professional range and the island was extended to 5 ft for the prep sink and wine chiller. The microwave was installed in the island after the homeowner decided that they did not want a microwave in the corner (TV location), and the kitchen has a pantry to the left on the refrigerator along with a book section for cookbooks (see additional photo). The homeowner brought in color via the decor --plates, planters, accessories.

It was a pleasure for Design Interiors to work on this home extension project with ARCHangels Architects & Build My Home. Our client’s who have teenage children wanted to create an open, social & relaxing family space which could also be used for entertaining. It was important to them to create a unique, wow factor look whilst having practical storage & cooking elements for busy family life. Sharon designed the LEICHT Black Slate furniture along with Black Cosmic Granite for the feature Island, worktops & splash back. This Contemporary kitchen features SIEMENS appliances, BORA induction hob & BLANCO sink & taps.
Decor Kitchens & BathroomsA beautiful traditional style kitchen with a beaded shaker style door in Light Grey. The large D handles give a modern touch to the kitchen. The Light Grey of the cabinetry really stands out against the black granite worksurfaces.
The island space is excellent for extra storage with the drawers and has space for stools for a great social area. The wine rack at the end not only looks great, but it is also in a great spot for when you are entertaining. Curves in a kitchen create a softness the room and creates a subtle flow making for the room more spacious and workable.
