We worked with the clients on this grade II listed Tudor Manor house project to create a huge open plan kitchen and dining area as well as a second apartment kitchen in a separate wing. and designed, manufactured and installed cabinetry for other rooms including the study, master bathroom and dressing rooms. For us, this project is the epitome of classic English design. Originally four smaller rooms, we worked with the clients and the architectural team to re-configure the space to comprise this large open plan kitchen with space for a large 10 seater dining table and soft seating area. The Longford cabinetry doors in this kitchen really suit the traditional English look and feel of the property while the Portobello dark oak finish on the island and cabinetry interiors quietly reflects the heritage of this historic home and works perfectly with the neutral colour palette from the bespoke H|M paint atelier. We are proud to present this breath-taking kitchen design that blends traditional and modern elements to create a truly unique and personal space. Upon entering, the Crittal-style doors reveal the beautiful interior of the kitchen, complete with a bespoke island that boasts a curved bench seat that can comfortably seat four people. The island also features seating for three, a Quooker tap, AGA oven, and a rounded oak table top, making it the perfect space for entertaining guests. The mirror splashback adds a touch of elegance and luxury, while the traditional high ceilings and bi-fold doors allow plenty of natural light to flood the room. The island is not just a functional space, but a stunning piece of design as well. The curved cupboards and round oak butchers block are beautifully complemented by the quartz worktops and worktop break-front. The traditional pilasters, nickel handles, and cup pulls add to the timeless feel of the space, while the bespoke serving tray in oak, integrated into the island, is a delightful touch. Designing for large spaces is always a challenge, as you don't want to overwhelm or underwhelm the space. This kitchen is no exception, but the designers have successfully created a space that is both functional and beautiful. Each drawer and cabinet has its own designated use, and the dovetail solid oak draw boxes add an elegant touch to the overall bespoke kitchen. Each design is tailored to the household, as the designers aim to recreate the period property's individual character whilst mixing traditional and modern kitchen design principles. Whether you're a home cook or a professional chef, this kitchen has everything you need to create your culinary masterpieces. This kitchen truly is a work of art, and I can't wait for you to see it for yourself! Get ready to be inspired by the beauty, functionality, and timeless style of this bespoke kitchen, designed specifically for your household.

The Myers TouchThe Myers Touch
In collaboration with the client’s architect, AR Design the layout of the kitchen was already in place. However, upon meeting the client it was clear she wanted a ‘wow’ island, symmetry in design and plenty of functional storage. As well as a contemporary, family-friendly space it was also important the space that still respected the heritage of the house. The original walls of the property had many angled walls and featured some tight spaces, so careful consideration of SieMatic's cabinetry choices was given to ensure maximum functionality in those spaces. After much consideration, The Myers Touch specified SieMatic’s SC10 Cabinetry in a Provence Oak Laminate finish which was placed in a framed-style at the rear wall. The same cabinetry was specified for under the island to create contrast with the new and original material features in the space. In order for the family to keep the kitchen uncluttered, careful planning of internal storage systems was considered in the form of using SieMatic’s internal Drawer boxes and their MultiMatic internal storage system which were used to store smaller items such as spices and sauces, as well whilst providing space for slide-out drawers and storage baskets. To ensure an elegant yet ‘wow’ factor central island, The Myers Touch combined contrasting textures by using 30mm Silestone Eternal Calacatta natural stone, polished worktops with ‘waterfall island’ edges and a Corian solid surface back panel. The distinctive geometric patterned Corian panel in Cameo White looks particularly spectacular at night when the owner's turn on the architectural-toned lighting under the island. Appliances chosen for the island included a sophisticated Elica Illusion extractor hood so it could be totally integrated in the new architectural space without visual distraction, a Siemens iQ500 Induction Hob with touch-slide control and a Caple Under-counter Wine cabinet. To maximise every inch of the new space, and to ensure the owners had a place for everything, The Myers Touch also used additional cabinetry and storage options in the island such as extra deep drawers to store saucepans, cutlery, and everyday crockery. The eye-catching Antique-bronze mirrored splashback not only helps to provide the illusion of extra space, but reinforces family ‘togetherness’ as it reflects and links the rear of the kitchen ‘snug’ area where family members can sit and relax or work when not in the main kitchen extension area. The original toned brickwork and 18th Century steel windows in the original part of the extension also helps to tell the story about the older part of the house which now juxtaposes to the new, contemporary kitchen living extension. A handy door was also included in the extension which leads to the garage on the main road for family convenience and over-flow storage. This semi-detached home in Teddington has been significantly remodelled on the ground floor to create a bright living space that opens on to the garden. We were appointed to provide a full architectural and interior design service. Despite being a modern dwelling, the layout of the property was restrictive and tired, with the kitchen particularly feeling cramped and dark. The first step was to address these issues and achieve planning permission for a full-width rear extension. Extending the original kitchen and dining area was central to the brief, creating an ambitiously large family and entertainment space that takes full advantage of the south-facing garden. Creating a deep space presented several challenges. We worked closely with Blue Engineering to resolve the unusual structural plan of the house to provide the open layout. Large glazed openings, including a grand trapezoid skylight, were complimented by light finishes to spread sunlight throughout the living space at all times of the year. The bespoke sliding doors and windows allow the living area to flow onto the outdoor terrace. The timber cladding contributes to the warmth of the terrace, which is lovely for entertaining into the evening. Internally, we opened up the front living room by removing a central fireplace that sub-divided the room, producing a more coherent, intimate family space. We designed a bright, contemporary palette that is complemented by accents of bold colour and natural materials, such as with our bespoke joinery designs for the front living room. The LEICHT kitchen and large porcelain floor tiles solidify the fresh, contemporary feel of the design. High-spec audio-visual services were integrated throughout to accommodate the needs of the family in the future. The first and second floors were redecorated throughout, including a new accessible bathroom. This project is a great example of close collaboration between the whole design and construction team to maximise the potential of a home for its occupants and their modern needs.
