We used Wood-Mode Cabinetry with a custom brushed “warm concrete” finish. The countertops are Sea Pearl quartzite and Haze CaeserStone. The floors are a French white oak custom tinted to just the right shade of gray.
Art of Kitchens Pty LtdOur client wanted a unique, modern space that would pay tribute to the industrial history of the original factory building, yet remain an inviting space for entertaining, socialising and cooking.
This project focused on designing an aesthetically pleasing, functional kitchen that complemented the industrial style of the building. The kitchen space needed to be impressive in its own right, without taking away from the main features of the open-plan living area.
Every facet of the kitchen, from the smallest tile to the largest appliance was carefully considered. A combination of creative design and flawless joinery made it possible to use diverse materials such as stainless steel, reclaimed timbers, marble and reflective surfaces alongside integrated state-of-the-art appliances created an urbane, inner-city space suitable for large-scale entertaining or relaxing.
PB Kitchen DesignThis kitchen was part of a significant remodel to the entire home. Our client, having remodeled several kitchens previously, had a high standard for this project. The result is stunning. Using earthy, yet industrial and refined details simultaneously, the combination of design elements in this kitchen is fashion forward and fresh.
Project specs: Viking 36” Range, Sub Zero 48” Pro style refrigerator, custom marble apron front sink, cabinets by Premier Custom-Built in a tone on tone milk paint finish, hammered steel brackets.
Dan Kitchens AustraliaIndustrial meets eclectic in this kitchen, pantry and laundry renovation by Dan Kitchens Australia. Many of the industrial features were made and installed by Craig's Workshop, including the reclaimed timber barbacking, the full-height pressed metal splashback and the rustic bar stools.

Denise Quade DesignA compact 24" refrigerator/freezer was used to maximize storage space. All the storage on the range wall is 24" deep to maintain the sleek contemporary look. Storage was added on the backside of the island for rarely used items. Minimal hardware was used so that nothing broke up the lines of the cabinets.

Bailey & Weiler Design/BuildGreat natural light fills the kitchen of this custom design/build home we completed south of Bloomington. The cabinetry and awesome hickory countertop by Stolls Woodworking are complemented by the Mixology Iron Nickel backsplash and Schoolhouse pendants. Just the ThingSimple flat front cabinetry was selected for this kitchen: white for the main work area and deep blue-grey for the island. The mobile island serves both as a buffet and work area when pulled into the work area. The butcher block top adds warmth and echoes the tones of the cherry floor. The long main wall continues into the hallway and stairwell, as does the display of artwork. The white backdrop allows the brilliant colours of the art to sing, while playing off the red walls in the work area.
